It's good to know they didn't have any problems with the Sparkly Tulips. I'm not sure beating Kansas Rec teams will help NTX soccer or their reputation

Seems to me like they could have just filled Deleon's spot at primetime this weekend and played much better competition. And saved 18 hours of driving. Does anyone know what happened to Deleon? Why did he no show at primetime?

Yea the first three games were dull. The finals was a fun game and score didn't break away until last 15 minutes. Sporting happens to be am ECNL club and the top team there.
It was a fun trip for the girls and families.
Sorry Deep, next time I'll have our coach run his plans by you so as not to let North Texas down.

I was only responding to previous comments. I meant the congrats and I think any tournament win is great for the team and the girls.
However if you feel the coach could benefit from my sage advice tell him I'm available and can be contacted via PM on the forum just like any other legitimate girls soccer consulting service. I only charge $1000/hr which is just pocket change for the NTX clubs.

Seems to me like they could have just filled Deleon's spot at primetime this weekend and played much better competition. And saved 18 hours of driving. Does anyone know what happened to Deleon? Why did he no show at primetime?
If You must know DeLeon was in Kansas with his oldest DD.

What are you implying? Not sure if you are trying to knock DTS but no academy program in north texas has a better more successful track record over the past 4 years.

And he's clearly a very classy coach who has his stuff together. A match made in "Durty South" heaven.

-DTS 02 ranked top three through academy currently #3 LHGCL.
- DTS 03 ranked #2 consistently top 3 through academy
-DTS 04 ranked #4 consistently ranked top 3 spending more time in #2 spot than other team
-DTS 05 ranked #1
Can't thank of another academy program with that much success. All of these teams developed by same coach.

No disrespect, but what other teams are out there (your way) that DTS is competing with for players? Majority of the better clubs are Northern base and DTS in a good position to acquire most of the talented players. I just don't see many people making the trip down south for any DTS teams living on the North side of town. South part of town do have talented players and DTS is just in a prime location. Northern teams are spread thin for better talented players..
