Looking for a good finishing instructor for private lessons

Can someone recommend a good finishing instructor? I am looking for someone that is technically proficient on the mechanics of shooting and can break down the striking of the ball to fix flaws in my dds mechanics.

I have to ask...where's her coach on all this?
IMO, your already paying for privates with your coach, going outside for anything seems waste of money.

Can’t say that I agree…. Team coaches don’t often have the time to get that focused on one kid and in one area. Sure they try to work on the issues they see, but they do not have time to stop down practice and work 30 min with one individual on mechanics. In my experience if you expect that from your coach you are sure to be disappointed. Also, IMO it never hurts to have a second set of eyes and another opinion on your child’s development- thus seeking private lessons outside of the team coach. I have seen the benefits of private instruction on many players…with in some cases substantial returns.

A lot of variables to consider...but I've yet to see the value (GKing aside). Bottom line, if you're coach isn't developing your DD then what exactly are you paying for? To each his own and I wish you luck either way. Be mindful - some coaches are all about privates simply as a revenue stream.

You know who you are....

This sounds like it's a specializtion thing and not something I would excpect my academy coach to be able to spend a ton of time in practice trying to fix this one problem for this one girl. It's simply not reasonable to ask, most of the time they will spend time showing the correct technique and correcting but some kids just need some one on one time for a few hours to get it fixed. Not something I would ever expect an academy coach to be able to do in the course of a normal practice.

I know that once you get in the select age some clubs have special practices for things such as this but not so much on the academy level.

Global Futbol Training.. Highly recommend them I used to take my daughter a few times a week to small group and shooting lessons. Well worth the money spent.
