The 2 good players that yo#10 is talking about left to try out for a international traveling Quidditch team. In their absence, the rest of the parents panicked, leading to a mad exodus. Most of the players ended up on teams playing in Arlington, where they really belonged anyway. A few players joined their local rec leagues and 2 players, that I know of, moved to Brazil in pursuit of higher quality training......

Solar, as a club, panicked not wanting to lose the coveted LHGCL D1 bye. So what they did was grab a rec team called the purple ponies, gave them solar kits, and now this is the team that Chris Pulpaneck will coach. Hopefully Chris is a good coach that can improve them quickly......

In theory the coaches could have signed non competes but for it to be valid the club would have had to give something in return/ Extra bonus or severance package.
