Crucible FC 99G - Arlington - June Practices: Tues./Thurs.

Crucible FC is an independant team established in 2012 and based out of Arlington that plays in the Arlington Premier Invitational League (API).  The primary focus for the team is the long term (i.e. high school years) development and growth of each player individually and as a part of a committed and dedicated cohesive group.  Open practice during June will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM @ Gene Shrickel Park, 4500 Parks Springs Dr., Arlington, TX 76017. (Parks Springs exit, just south of I-20).

This team was built from a group of girls who have played together, for the most part, since U-10, U-11 (select teams).  We added some important pieces to the puzzle this past year but some have decided to move on and pursue other opportunities. We have room for 4-6 players, in particular, defensive players are a priority.  All positions will be considered though, since some of our current team members are playing out of their natural positions.

We offer a significantly lower cost alternative to the larger club teams and provide an experienced coach and full time trainer.  Head Coach is Rich Leverenz, who has dedicated himself for many years to youth soccer in north Texas.  Rich is instrumental in assisting those girls wishing to pursue college opportunities with his recruitment seminars and his connections with many coaches from regional colleges and universities.

The girls will be on the practice field tonight and on Thursday from 7:00-8:30 PM. We still are looking for some defensive players to add to the roster so come work out with us! Tryouts will be next week at Harold Patterson on Field #10 (in front of the pavillion) starting at 6:00 PM on July 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
