United FC 08 Girls – Richardson, Plano, North Dallas


If you’ve read the advertisements for new teams lately, you may have noticed that more and more parents are coming to appreciate the value of not getting too caught up in the “big club” environment, especially for the youngest of ages. This is among the goals of United FC 04 girls’ soccer teams. The coaches are seeking to add to the existing teams so that as U11 approaches, the players will be fully prepared to enter the select soccer world or continue playing in PSA at a level that is more advanced than traditional rec play. The idea is to instill a love of the game by challenging the girls to be the best they can be, but also recognize that one size does not fit all.


So this is not a request for a few strong “fill-in-the-position-here” players. Rather, the United FC coaches invite any parent to bring his or her daughter out and just give it a try. With more than 30 years of combined coaching experience and nearly a lifetime of playing the sport, we truly love working with these kids. Competent training with a focus on the player's individual soccer development and character building through the challenges on the field. This is our commitment to the girls and their parents.


After the recent short break, summer sessions will kick-off with a minicamp during the evenings of August 5-9. This will be free to all prospective 04 and 08 players. Time is TBD depending on consensus availability, and the location will be at Canyon Creek Park in far north Richardson. The end of the summer is approaching, and it's a great time for your daughter to check out her soccer options. Maybe rec soccer is fun but she just doesn't feel challenged. Perhaps you're a parent who would like to find a coach that teaches good skills, but the idea of working your life around the never-ending practices and games that come with academy soccer doesn't set well with you at this point. Or you might simply want your young soccer player to see what else is out there.

The FREE United FC summer mini-camp is fast approaching, and space is limited. We want to make sure it benefits all participants, and that is best accomplished with a low coach-to-player ratio.
