As quickly as they joined the DFW soccer market place they seem to have gone out even quicker. How did an organization as large as they are fail to make the grade in DFW?
I have some thoughts of my own
Big Club (in other parts of the country) but no ECNL or Academy for boys here in DFW so what would be the benefit in joining. Just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts as to why they petered out
I think they still have 1-2 teams playing under Dallas Rush but that's it.

I think it all fell apart when franchise owner could not strike a deal with Frisco or Lewisville soccer associations to take over their rec programs. Then when they blew through all their cash in the first half of the year (mismanaged) they had no funds to pay their coaches from about February 2014 through the remainder of the season. They even tried the Liverpool method of doing a Flower fund raiser which did not really work since most knew the club was doomed. Most coaches began to bolt soon after that.

Late spring the franchise owner sent out an email sorta tongue-lashing the parents, saying how it was not his fault...and btw "quit calling me".

Also as I understand it, Dallas Rush was never really that connected or supported by the mother ship (Colorado Rush). No funding, coaching or support was provided that I know of. The Dallas entity was left to live or die on its own.
