Don't get all "nationalistic" about the odds of the US winning vs. Panama...
That was a very athletic team that beat Mexico last night..... and the coaching was unusual in that it took advantage of the athleticism and blended it with some good old tactical discipline to achieve the Positive Result.....
Watch out USA... look for a very tight contest (which is what we want)....

Isn't it south? ( be kind.. i'm a long way removed from my elem. school geography classes..)
4-1 sounds right to me.. Panama looked good in spurts last night, but failed to recognize several scoring opportunities, and attempted to "park the bus" waaaay too early in that match to ride out the lead. I do not think that strategy will work against the US. They were dang lucky Mexico didn't score about 2-3 goals during that period. They seemed pretty tired by the end of the match too...
we shall see..... here's to a good final... and Beasley not giving up anymore stupid goals.
