I will conceded you are clearly a better parent than I based on the simple fact I allow my kid to play on DTS with a bunch of toothless hooligans and let her listen to a song or two on Kiss FM.Soccer Po Boy wrote:I guess we raise our kids two different ways. Finally I don't know of any parent on the team that doesn't have all of their teeth. Perhaps you were referring to the kids as they are U10 and all missing some I'm sure.

Not sure if you are new to this or not but let me give you the 1st rule of thumb...probably the only rule.
#1: don't pay this jacka$% any mind....
Apparently his DD's team lost today and his only concern besides where he hides his mature fetish porn is his ability to read....
Yadda Yadda Yadda...but...Poboy its good to narrow down what team you are representing....lol
And why didn't you approach the parent and express your distaste? Here is your usual opportunity to give a slick response instead of the real reason of you being cowardly and probably too weak to defend or protect your family. Remain in a state of anonymity and raise irrelevant issues on threads that ask for scores.
Don't bother responding to my post...your issues was with the guy wearing the shirt...you chose not to speak up then so don't untuck your mangina now on a forum...

Re: 9/14-15 Scores
I have to agree with PoBoy and his assessment .
The parent with the F word on his shirt must have a wardrobe full of filthy language because we got the shirt with A** on it…….no *’s . Big and Bold and clear as day. Yes, I realize this can be construed as a ‘donkey’, but I’m pretty sure he didn’t wear it because he thought that’s what it meant! Not only are our girls only 9/10 years old, but there is an abundance of younger siblings that attend these games, and they aren’t too busy playing soccer to see it.
Some parents were giving our coach the ‘throat slash’ with their hands, and one lovely gent actually threatened our coach after the game with a hammer!
I’m not calling ALL the parents hooligans, but I will go so far as to say, with the amount of hooligans and with their outrageous behavior, it paints an ugly picture and the whole team looks bad.

Sounds like a bunch of sore losers on here to me. If a parent came at a coach with a hammer shouldn't that have been reported and backed up with witness and taking to the police...maybe? Or are ya making up stories? Smear campaign maybe? Sore losers?

I won't deny, I would have probably ended on the bad end of an altercation with a sideline full of drunks yesterday.kixR4Adults2 wrote:MrRogers...MrRogers wrote:Yea... Very sad. The team consists of 9-10 year old...they never look bad.
Spirit parents were just as active. Like the sarcastic comments about giving our DD's water from the sideline during a game delay. You guys experienced the same heat.
Yes, one of your or some of your parents were sarcastically asking "who else needs water?" That activates the protective parent mechanism. Mind yours.
You and Poboy should start a new thread.
It was a Nike tee...yes it did have A S S on it..oops.
Throat slash was to the coach saying stop celebrating because the ref says the goal didn't count because of an offsides call. Not a threat.
I like spirits coach, he def has that....spirit. he was just as passionate on the sideline.
The hammer was for the tent stakes lmao, it wasn't meant to intimidate the coach. Maybe that's why he told me good game "daddio"? When I went to return the hammer to the tent bag? Why be upset, we won...not by as much as we did back at Blue Sky earlier in the year. Signs of improvement maybe. And sheesh, from your "assessment" you sure had your eyes on one particular parent...hmmm...
I won't play the race card either but....hey.
Again, what are the SCORES from THIS weekend?

Name calling fits with your behavior on the sideline, and no surprise with a ‘moniker’ that says ‘sock her’….very classy!

Well 2 wrongs don't make a right...you won't be judged for our screennames or behavior but you will be for the way YOU respond. There is no way to spin it or justify your perception or assessment of us and or our team except the fact that you are a sore loser. Enough said. Just look at it as a favor, we are fueling your desire to beat us...if and when you are ever victorious, go cut a cartwheel at midfield and give us the finger if it eases the pain of sore losing.Pinkie wrote:Sore loser?.....maybe. I don’t like losing to people who act like that at a child’s soccer game.

Re: 9/14-15 Scores
I have to agree - I only notice parents that I'm a little to close to during games piping up - if I don't like it, I can move - lots of field to enjoy the game from besides sitting right on the midline next to the other team's parents. Also, I don't think I've ever looked at the opposing teams parents t-shirts or shirts or really even at them period unless I already knew who the hell they were. Some good ribbing amongst parents isn't bad as long as it's all in good fun and not coming to down to fist-a-cuffs on the sidelines. Being spirited on the sidelines for your player and your team is a good thing - worrying about what other folks wear and such may be a little picky. Maybe looking a little deep for something in anger? Was it due to the loss? Did the shirt cause the loss? Did the parents cause the girls on the field from the opposing team to stop playing hard? I guess I don't see the point in wasting energy on what the opposing team, coach or parents are doing instead of supporting your team and showing some passion for your players. Everyone shows their passion a little differently right? Just try to stay somewhat classy while doing that...go99 wrote:NICE!!! This is good stuff. Why do all of the DTS complaints come after losing to them. Where are the winning teams to complain? Just want to make sure we have this clear. Unproperly censored Tshirt=BAD. Name calling and ridiculing others-GOOd. Maybe if less time was spent trying to childproof the world and more time working on their game could have had a different outcome to the game. I have never once notice what the oppositions parents were wearing. Shouldn't you be on your side of the field anyway?

That said, don't be the kind of a-hole that wears a shirt with "f**k" on it to a 9-year-old's sporting event. Just don't be that guy. Win or lose, don't be that guy.
