06 Scores 09/21 & 09/23

Wow.. you guys were fired up last night huh.  

TBT (truth be told) GetItStraight's account of the May PT tourney is 99% correct.. the only part he left out, which he might not have been aware of (not saying he should have), was that McDaniel's parents  were trying to get the ref's attention, up until Sting received their trophies.. but he kept blowing them off.  By the time the tourney official/head ref got involved, Sting was wrapping up their ceremony, which by then was too late, no question.  The head ref said a re-kick was in order, but both teams would have to consent.  Words were then exchanged by both sides.. end of story.  

To Rockwall.. I feel bad that you are being blasted a bit, but let's not pretend that you are an innocent bystander.  If you'll check the FBR thread, you brought up the Thanksgiving thing all by yourself.. not in response to anyone.

On the 26-0 game, I put this squarely on both coaches.  Why not walk over at half-time or as suggested take a water break and discuss options coach to coach?  There is nothing to gain from a game like this on either side.  

Last and not least to everyone.. follow our DD's lead and let them simply play the game.  Our time passed long ago.. it's their turn.

deciding to add more to this statement! I am embarrassed about all of it, all of you, and the worse part is that I read this crap! We are parents, you know, the adults of 2nd graders playing a game they love. They are just quite good at it so we put them out here in a competitive setting so they can get better but still love the game....then our (parents) egos get so inflated like WE are the reason our dd's are good that this game....ughhh

The dude is correct.

This just in sting Chacon is a 22 goal favorite vs the lollipops this Sunday. Take sting minus the points.

Oh well, one more time, lets call it my "Mea Culpa". As the guy who unintentionally dropped the proverbial turd in the punch bowl, I apologize for breaking decorum and mentioning a score with such a large delta. I honestly did it to feed Borussia's model and given that i did not know what the goal difference maximum is, i posted it along with the clarifying statement (which i can see how my clarifying statement could have been misconstrued, that's not how i meant it.) In the future i will abstain from posting Sting results as i do not want another episode of this, someone else can provide those to Borussia.
As to my issues with McDaniel's team (rather not the team but the parents), they are valid and anyone of you would feel the same if the situation was reversed. I have been in a lot of scraps in my life, but to almost get in one at a 06 girls soccer game really, really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. With that though, it is pointless and immature to keep rehashing and i wont do that or be baited into responding in regards to that again.
Finally, and this is the one that actually irks me the most, is the negative statements (putting aside the stuff that sweeper brought up regarding the tournament) in regards to Coach Chacon and the Sting team. Coach Chacon is a really good coach that has an accomplished soccer pedigree, in addition to a huge caring heart for the girls. I can assure and attest 100% that how he coached the game on Saturday was without malice or disrespect to the other team. There is only so much that can be done when faced with such an obvious mismatch in skills between two teams and he has my 100% support for everything he did. (you may disagree, but that is my opinion and i was there)

It is interesting that you chimed in on the 26-0 score when in reality you advocate that type of play. Keep on grinding the ax with JK who told you to go away when you wanted him to run up the score and you wanted to tell him how to coach.
