What happened to Owen? Their website seems they are very good team.

Is that because Rush dynamo a much stronger team? Congrate bigtex!

Dynamo scored 4 very quick goals before half time and at that point the damage was done. The second half was all about passing away from wherever Dyanmo was and Owen did a good job at that by staying in their positions, though missed a handful of breakaway chances created by the passing.  Was happier with this loss than the 5-0 win in the Gerrard game, where the girls didn't stay in their positions as much.  Until next time! Dynamo was a much more aggressive team with the ball at their feet, that's for certain.

Thanks Planogirl, but I would not read too much into any one score (i.e. part of the reason I do not post scores). I am pleased with how our girls played and I think some of them are starting to take some significant developmental strides (far more important than the score).

I know some of the Owen girls well and they are talented. At 6/7 years old you just never know what you are going to get from them on match day. In fact my daughter did not have that great of a match, but her teammates picked her up (which was great to see). I am sure the next time we play Owen it will be a lot closer and it would not surprise me at all if the score went the other direction…after all it is 6/7 year old soccer- some scores may depend on who had naps vs. sleepovers

This should go under the thread "what's wrong with NTX soccer?"   bigtex, I thought your dd played great.  Fast, strong and relentless as always!  Certainly miss that dynamic on LP-O.

Thanks TRD I appreciate that- she is usually better on the offensive side…maybe the sleepover bug got her that day ;>) I know one of yours had the Indian Princess campout bug….been there many times myself with my older girls. The only thing probably more frustrating that coaching 6/7 year old girls soccer at times…is probably coaching the Cowboys. Good luck.
