U7G - AFC Fall Challenge with Team List

Big field and 8v8 for the 06s buddy. Barnes and Spirit are top dogs, doesnt look to be a silver and Gold division just yet. those 07s ready for it?

What is considered the not big field for the 07s? and, goal size? Ideally, developmentally speaking, would like to not be in games where players "just shoot it" from 20 yards away because chances are it'll probably go in  

U7 - 60 yds x 40 yds with 7'x21' goals
U8 - 80 yds x 50 yds with 8'x24' goals

You must not watch the better 06s play. I know of one girl that rips from way out, but thats because she can and will score. Awesome left foot on that one.

Hey as long as she's not toe-balling it, more power to her! I know a '06 that plays with the '05s that fits that description.

I think I mentioned it before, but I may start some kind of blog or book about famous quotes from around the leagues/sidelines.  I've been stunned to see how many coaches so badly want to win, they're yelling to shoot from 25 yards out v my 07s, are screaming for fouls, handballs, etc. Some of the games have lost their luster as a result. I've offered to kick the ball in our own goal to give them the win if it matters to them so much.  It takes away from what I'm trying to accomplish on the field, to stay focused on doing the right things and taking chances even if it means passing into our own goal. So, I'm over-cautious about where we play.  

But, I think these are appropriate fields/goals so I think we'll see you there!

You buying lunch? Or bringing a bottle or two for after... haha. Come on now, it could be chilly, help warm the blood.

So artist formally known as TRD…based on your post about field size are you saying you are registering 06 or 07? Just curious so I can see how much work I have to do to try to pull another team or two into the 07 bracket.

We'll be playing '07s. Just sorting out a few details with the rosters.

Now that you have all these top 07 teams committed to playing….can we play down with Borussia’s 09s? We can’t do dipsy doo.. dunkeroo. Golazoss, but at least we should be bigger

Bo: Don't you have a FBR for the 06s that should be published? As of Thurs at 1:26 you have yet to publish... Gophers is hanging his head in shame...

Trust me, you dont want to be embarrased by some 09s.

My FBR for the 06s will be out before the 07s....

Who are the Comets? Thought Horst finally merged all his teams with FCD...

Not sure how to contact Steve at the tigers Boilerjoe, we play them on Nov 3rd & I'll mention it though. Got our hands busy with a very skilled lil 08 team this Sunday though. Guaranteed no drama this week(crosses fingers, lol). Just looking for a fun time at the game.

Comets are from Midlothian(sp?), watched them play Sunday, they have some talent for sure.  Was a very good showing.

Just signed us up for Primetime's tourney the week after in McKinney also, looks to be a couple of fun weekends

I beleive JR prefers bigger fields and bigger goals with more players on the field so he moved them up to the 06 silver bracket    
 
Just playing with JR, but yes they are in the Silver 06 bracket now.
