Wow - game this past Sunday

Thank goodness not too many games like last Sunday. The parents on the other team were screaming at their girls to go for our girls' knees and ankles. Then several of their girls started using the N word on the pitch. The other coach flipped a gasket and confronted the ref several times. (There were many bad calls, but bad both ways.) My sweet girls (insert smile) started responding and ultimately about 8 yellow cards issued. The other coach started F boming, F ... this, that, F FC Dallas, F the girls. He was finally ejected. I thought this type of behavior was weeded out a long time ago? Just silly at this older age group ....

96s   We played them earlier in the season and they didn't behave so badly.  But, I'm sure most of y'all have had one of those "what just happened games"?   In our first game against them, the girls did not have their minds in the game, most of the team had a conflict and didn't play, and we ended up playing the second half down players while they fielded the full amount.    I don't think they realized that first game was a horrible outlyer for our team and became nasty when 1.  our team showed up and 2. team not too bad when they are there and ready to play

Ahh 96s... Yes my DD is a 96(no longer playing) but yeah that's sounds like it was a rough match. Remember Dynasty? My DD received a red card for fighting with one of Dynasty's players. They're a rough crowd.

Yes - noticed N word used much more frequently within LH matches. Behavior reported, league doesn't care. F bombs from 98 girls as well at our match on Saturday. Referees letting games get out of control.

The game became physical before the refs started handing out yellows. But even then, he seemed to give the cards for language and not aggressive play. My dd has a huge bruise and cleat mark on the front of her ankle/top of foot. Nothing. It was when the girl called her the N word and my dd called her the P word they were both yellow carded. I think if the girls had escalated a little more there might have been parents from the other team on the field. Many got off their bleachers/chairs and were standing as they screamed.
