Is this a different team than SRSA 06?

My daughter was lucky enough to have the opportunity to guest with Coach Byars for the better part of a season last year. If you are looking for a coach that is fun and very constructive for your DD that also has access to a wealth of other great coaching resources (eg - DM or CP) then I highly recommend you give Charles a look. His skill sets are a fantastic match for this development stage of young people.

Solar Chelsea Byars 06 girls will hold open practice at  the IAD today from 6-7:15pm
All 06 girls are welcome to attend. .This is a different team then SRSA 06..

 No 'guesting' in Academy.. you might want to rethink that one.

Sorry ,but CFBL allow you to play with multiple teams every weekend. Thanks for the translation. .lol ...

What are the guesting rules for academy, if any? Seems the rosters of most teams we've played in league and tourney are pretty "fluid"...

Does it depend whether the venue is NTSSA-sanctioned or not? Where do you find the rules?

Nothing agaisnt Solar or coach, but you basically trashed the thread by what you said...

The no guesting means players can play on multiple teams and are put on that teams roster especially for tournaments. Academy rosters can change every week and no academy players sign contracts which means no player is tied to one academy team. That means no one is guesting because they don't have a contract to one team

I one hundred percent agree with Logasdaddy if we lived closer my DD would still be with Coach Byars. He was very good in building her confidence up, after I through her in a Top Academy situation straight from Rec. and from a Goal Keepers dad that is a hard thing to get a Coach to do. If you want a good Coach that will do what is best for your DD and will be a positive type coach I highly recommend him.

My daughter has been with the same non-Solar coach almost 2 years now. She had a couple of friends that played for Coach Byars. They needed a "guest" for the season. Our present coach AND Byars were both gracious and confident enough in their abilities to let my DD play with both (platinum and gold). I'm pretty certain she was able to handle it just fine over at Solar...yet you allude to her not hacking it. Since you do not know my daughter I will call your comments ignorant. She is not a superstar and I'd be a fool to label her as such but I imagine ANY coach at ANY club in NTX would like her on their side - Maybe not... She DOES get a lot of requests to join teams as "guests or whatever".

If you have an '05 team PLEASE PM me times and locations and maybe I will bring her to training and you can help me identify areas where we can make her better and more Triumph-Worthy I suppose. I just hope she can handle it. (Not cool man. Not cool)

My original intent was to support Coach Byars. If we did not live way out on the west side then maybe we would still drive. I'd rather drive at select time in a year+ if the right team for her dictates that driving is necessary. Right now, I want her development to come from quality Coaches like Byars and our current Coach. Thank you - I look forward to your PM

CHARLES - I apologize for crowding up your recruiting thread with this trash. If you start another thread I will stay off of it. I will go back to the 05 threads (I wonder if there is a Triumph '05 Team?)

Solar Chelsea Byars still looking for 2-3 players for the 2014 Spring season.Will have open practice Tuesday and Thursday at American Indoor from 5-6pm.
