FC Dallas 02g Red South

I guess nothing has changed with this teams sideline.

The parents lack even just a drop of class or sportsmanship.

....have heard them repeatedly talk trash to 12 year old opponents. Have heard them encourage taking girls out. Have also heard that LHGCL has been asked repeatedly to pay more attention to their sidelines, but to no avail.

Sad.

Saw and heard it first hand tonight. Love how they invade the other teams side lines to do their trash talking.

What's sad is their coach is just as bad as the parents. Laughing when other teams player went down for an injury.

I heard that several of their own parents and girls were fed up with the nonsense and were going to be asking for releases.

Where does anyone go at this point? Are there actual teams with spots avial?

I'm sure if a parent/DD received a full release and 'transfer' (to allow them to go to another team), they could ask LHGCL if there were any teams that had a spot. Obviously that parent could put an 'ad' in the forum as well. I'm sure there are several DI, II and III teams that have 1 spot available.

Sting Central 02 Parker currently has 1 open roster spot.

Had to check the date on this topic as I believe this is the same subject as last year (and the year before).

If I was a betting man, I say this team wont be around next year or it will be mostly new players come July 2014.

As long as they have a competitive release. NTSSA rules govern releases.

I'm a dad on FCD south. I'm on both sides of the field, depending on which way we are going at the time. Never one time did i ever run down another 12yr old little girl. Nor have i ever seen our coach laugh or say anything derogatory to a girl on another team let alone ours. oh and about invading the other teams sideline. I'm usually standing all the way down by the goal box. I go to every game and i will stand where i will, if anyone would like to join me feel free and you will hear first hand what I'm saying. Other than that you shouldn't be cowards and hide behind a forum and make up bold face lies. Oh and by the way My Kid Is Good

You may check...LP Owen was a QT team... there are specific rules related to teams that just qualified...they don't want teams to use "studs" to help a team qualify and then just move them back to their other team after the team they helped is qualified. lol clear as mud? But that may just apply to the Fall season.

Mommabear you put it perfectly. "Clear as mud" there are so many ins n outs. Had a situation where a friend's bb was not allowed to switch teams mid season due to the fact that the team he was going to join was in the same division as the team he had just left. Don't know how that happened. That's just what I was told. Perhaps ther was more to that.

Hmm-Well Texans North girls went to SRSA this season. SRSA girl went to DTS. This was after the Higgy implosion so prob about only a month ago.

I think perhaps a player can switch mid season IF the team was a bye team...not a QT team...and neither SRSA nor DTS '02's were QT teams, they were bye teams. Now if you are talking '03's...they would both be QT teams...my understanding that would be against the rules...so I assume you are talking '02's?

I think I remember reading about something like the above mentioned (by mommabear) in another thread, but cannot locate it in search. I believe she is correct, but do not know for 100%.

If that is the case for '02s - then the following teams would not be able to add a player from another LHGCL team, correct?

Well seeing as I had first hand experience with your team recently I can say my earlier statement is a FACT! I didn't hide behind a computer screen when I told the dad (gentlemen sitting up on the hill right at mid-line & mom sitting right on mid-line were your loudest of the bunch by far) that he was showing great sportsmanship by trash talking the opponent team.

It's one thing to come on the opponents side line and encourage your dd but don't stand right over the top of me or our parents like 3 of the dad's did and belittle and encourage foaling the opposing team.

Your coach did laugh when a player was hurt this came first hand from the girls on the field & bench. Talk about class!

This team has it's problems from top down! The coach is an arrogant-self absorbed individual. I considered my DD playing for this guy, but one practice with him and talking to him was enough to squash that idea.

Two things as this this thread went both right and left at the fork in the road. My DD and her teammates have heard and shared word for word what the Fc parents say to them during the game. Repeatedly I have heard the girls say "I hate those parents. They say mean things to us when we play." And more. What other parents need to do is reach out to LH and continue to file complaints. They can't ignore it forever.

As to the moving teams prong, if you get a full competitive release and there is a team with an open roster spot then a player can be added regardless of what league you are in. If it's open and you're released then there's no concern.

So he was specifically laughing at the injury?  How was this determined?  Did he point and say "Now that is funny"  Next time maybe we should all take a knee to bring it back to rec days.....Sometimes peoples perception of a situation are influenced by there emotions at that time and just maybe he was laughing with one of the girls on the team about something else.
 
As far as the parents mentioned I was not near them so I cannot say whether your accusations have merit.  If something was said that offended you then we apologize (although this will not satisfy most) We wish your team the best and I want to personally say how well your goalie played.  She was amazing.  
 
This subject is getting beaten to a pulp and people need to move on.  If anyone was offended we are sorry.

I don't know the entire team, but can speak for two players. I coached them for quite awhile and they played for me before they went select. I know their parents quite well. The girls I coached are amazing, sweet girls. Their parents have never acted like what is being described when their girls played for me.

It probably doesn't help, but at least I can speak for 2/16th of the team!
