Academy girls need a release to play with another team? Empty Academy girls need a release to play with another team?

Can someone tell me what this is all about... Kind of new to this but I was under the impression that an academy aged player does not need a release from any team to guest play with another team... is this a new rule? We shouldnt have a problem getting a release considering my DD is moving from an 04 team to an 05 team and the 04 team understands she want to play in her own age now but I was just wandering... Thanks for the help in advance!

Academy you can come and go as you please... only thing holding back a weekly switch is the cost of uniforms....

I did one time have to fill out a player loan form(US Club Soccer form)... and current coach had to sign... wasn't sure what that was all about, but the team my dd was guesting for asked for it. Wasn't a big deal to get signed...

If its NTX sanctioned just keep a copyof the form for yourself and hop as much as you want. If its US club, then to do it properly yes there is a loan form that should be filled out and the player card must be in hand as well.

If your dd also plays recreational soccer...I think you have to have a guest form approved by your rec team's home association. That could be what you signed before.

As an academy player, a copy of your Academy Player Reg Form + medical release should be all you need to guest play for another team UNLESS the team you are guesting with is playing the event with a US Club roster
(Doubtful)
As always it's a good idea to keep your current coach advised of your guest plans.
