NWSL expansion team coming to Texas

The Houston Dash (owned by Houston Dynamo- men's pro team) is the first expansion team to join the existing 8 teams for the 2014 season. Happy to see a Women's Professional Soccer team in our state! Will FC Dallas follow and add a women's pro team?

Would love to see FCD step up with a women's pro team. With the popularity of girls soccer I would think it would do somewhat well.

FC Dallas had a women's team at one point, not sure what happened to them.

The Hunt family (owners of FC Dallas) have said recently they may be interested in fielding a NWSL pro women's team at some point in the future if the league proves to be financially viable. The WPS league a few years back ended up a major failure.
The new league is run by US Soccer in partnership with the Canadian and Mexican federations. I'm crossing my fingers this league sticks. So far it seems to be doing well.

I think the Hunt's should worry about fielding a men's team first.
