were talking to him over the years. He wanted to come back to Texas. He would always stop at my DD's games when in town. He is very nice guy. I hope the Best for Him.. The question will he take Ben with him.

He will absolutely take Ben with him. Nepotism rules kept him from taking other Texas college jobs. Working with your kid and being near a new grandchild are pretty potent reasons to make a move.
I also believe that the real end game for him is the WNT job. Working with, and watching, the post college players will only help him achieve that goal.

Not a chance he stays; I am betting the bags are already packed; you can take that to the bank.

Hey gang! I hope I copied the quote correctly on my first time forum post. I am newbie so take it easy on me here.
After an interesting parent phone call today as I was leaving my office at the beautiful Toyota Stadium I was fully expecting to pull up to my house and see a for sale sign. I did not realize you guys wanted me to go so bad!
First of all I do want to congratulate my father on being named the head coach for the Houston Dash in the NWSL. I'm not just saying this because he is my old man but I truly believe he is one of the best coaches in the country. Having worked with him at Notre Dame, seeing how he handles players, teaches, and coaches the game is something to aspire to...and here is a novel fact! He does all of this without screaming like a crazy person and being the 12th player on the field while screaming! (not sure he'd be successful in NTX youth soccer without screaming).
I must of worked for 'soccer4fun' in a previous life and he still owes me money! To take it to the bank that my bags are packed. By the way, I could really use that money you owe me with baby Chloe arriving sometime within the next couple of weeks. You know where to find me not too far away!
I truly believe I have one of the best youth coaching jobs in the country at FC Dallas. I have an excellent boss, very soccer sharp, intelligent, and a high-level coach in our VP/DOC. The FC Dallas organization is professional, first class, and I really enjoy working - coaching with my peers in the ECNL staff and overall coaching staff. I enjoy the teams I am coaching...you should see the potential of the U14s. We have had games where that group has connected over 280 plus passes and excited about seeing those kids continue to grow. I have just been named FC Dallas U23 Women's Team head coach. (honored).
My whole family (excluding mom & dad) and my wife's family is in Dallas and the support cast we have as we start our family is here in Dallas. So, if you guys can help me here and take the for sale sign out of my front yard I would appreciate it!
ZIZOU - Your comment about the Hunt family and supporting a women's team. As the women's professional league continues to grow I know there is an interest in beginning a women's professional team in Dallas. Each year that an NWSL/MLS franchise work together and that model is successful, the league grows and flourishes I think you will see a NWSL team in Dallas. The best way to show that Dallas would support a women's professional team is by coming out and supporting FC Dallas' U23 Women's Team...maybe we can talk the Dash into playing us and see what the fan support would be like! Just a thought! You can find our game schedule posted on our website later in the spring.
Sorry folks to crash your soccer gossip forum! I just keep taking the same phone call over and over again! Everyone enjoy starting out the new year! Best wishes to all in your soccer endeavors! If any of you guys ever want to know what is going on with me just give me a call. I love talking soccer with anyone and you can find my contact information on our FCD website.

Well done, Ben. Congrats on the baby and to the senior. Now stand aside, its time to mock and ridicule our forum brethren...
Soccer4fun, where, exactly, is your bank?
Uncle: very informed analysis; do you have any good stock picks you'd care to share as well?
