POOL A

DT South - Current #1 team in last FBR.  Good team but which team will show up.  They have their ups and downs.  Texas Cup - Champions.  I believe tied Sting Scarfone 1-1 and had a shootout with TX Spirit '04 Clark.  Like may have said, they have not put any separation between themselves and 2 thru 5 yet they find a way to win.

FC Dallas Premier - They seem to always be knocking on DT South back door with a few 1-0 losses in Texas Cup and PTCL. They just can't seem to get over the hump and put streaks together.  I can't put much stoke into Michael Brown, but the inconsistency still showed.  FCD Premier has a new Coach.  Let's see if he can turn this ship around and have the girls knocking on the door for top 7 or 8.

Mustang FC '04 Lopez - Finished 1-2-0 in AFC Fall Challenge in Nov. and did not show well in PLD.  They play well against lower ranked teams but struggle to find the back of the net against upper ranked teams.  May struggle this tournament a bit, for not sure if they have played Since Nov.  

Dallas Rush DeLeon - Finished 2-2 in Texas Winter Classic 2014 and did not show well in AFC Fall Challenge.  A team still trying to work things out and shall improve.

POOL B

TX Spirit '04 Clark - Will not surprise me if they hold up the Trophy this weekend over DT South. They have been on FIRE scoring lately.  Champions in Winter Cup 2014 and Finalist in State Cup.  They have been ranked between 3-5 for well over a year.  This could be the breakout year for TX Spirit to hit #1 in FBR over DT South.  

Sting '04 Chacon - The mixture of teams has seem to have paid off.  They have put together a few good wins and are staying consistent in top 5.  May need to find another scorer to help get over the hump and beat teams ranked above them.  Should be a close one between them and TX Spirit.  If you tilt your head one way, Chacon can be playing for the championship.

Odyssey '04 - A teams that plays hard but can't catch a break.  Finished 1-1-2 at Michael Brown.  Again, not much stoke in this tournament but this has been the norm for Odyssey, lack of consistency.  Finished 4th in TGPL (out of 12) and did not fair well in PTCL.  They landscape has changed for this team, lets see if they can hold it together and turn it around.

GSSC Thunder Blue - Another teams that plays hard but just can't catch a break.  Finished 7th in TGPL (out of 12) and finished mid of the pack in PTCL.  They show sparks of putting it together to contend but consistency falls short.  The game against Odyssey should be a good one.  

Just my opinions. No harm intented to any team.  I just call it as I see it.  Feel free to chime in.

Not sure I agree on the easier draw in bracket A but who knows.

Games I'm interested in:
Mustangs v FCD: Agreed they didn't show well in Plano, but they've since got a very good keeper and seem to be playing well since. I saw one of there FWD's playing with Sting Goodman over the weekend. Is she still with Mustangs? Who is FCD's new coach?

GSSC/Odyssey/Sting: Haven't seen Odyssey lately (didn't they lose a player to RASE?) but they seem to do well if they aren't playing the very TOP teams. IMO GSSC has a very good midfield that has to be contended with. Interested to see how both these teams fare against Chacon.

Spirit/DTS: Different styles of play (been a while since I've seen DTS), but both teams very fast and physical. This should be great game, maybe game of the spring. Are they both playing SDL this spring?
