Saw that one coming...lol We ran into too many schedule conflicts with our coach having 3 other teams in PT. As hard as Nicole tried to accommodate us it just didn't work last season.

I find it hard to believe that it just didn't work last season I don't have 1st hand knowledge of the interactions between your team and Nicole, but I know from previous experience with working with her, she is by far the hardest working league administrator around and her passion for schedule harmony pays off, she literally bends over backwards to make all teams schedules work, so I would guess she is probably a little offended by your comments, but I also know she wont hold it against you come Fall 2014.
So all that to say, I wish Reina the best and we will see you guys in the Fall...

It wasn't Nicole's fault at all, she really did all that she could and I wish we could have stayed at CFBAL. PT is really where the issues were, but with having our other teams there it is the best way to ensure our coach can make all the games(I hope). In the meantime I will be working on getting our other teams to try out CFBAL next season.

Look over on the 05 boys Forum. Rush Voutier, Sting Diaz, FCD Premeir. I Also heard Pulp is going to jump in as well. Should be fun.TatonkaBurger wrote:orbitzone2000 wrote:Looks like some of the Platinum girls teams have elected to play against the boys in the 9v9 platinum 05 division!! That should be fun to watch.

I haven't looked, but that is kinda funny. The girls 05 is deeper and much more competitive than the boys. My daughter has scrimmaged some 05 boys teams and those guys need another year of catching up. The girl devlopment overall at this age is much more pronounced in my experience. Obviously the gap closes pretty quickly, so next year I could see that move. These are just my observations though. If I were one of the boys team, I may request an all boys league at this age.

T-Pitty - I agree with you. With the competition the girls have in the Platinum and Gold divisions, I'm not sure I understand the move. Has FCD Premier had a good recruiting winter? They ought to try playing some of the top girls teams first...

There may be a better boys team or two, but total depth in my opinion would lean toward the girls at this age. It will be fun to watch how Diaz competes against the boys. Are the top 05's playing CFBSA? I know the top 04's were EAL last season, and the 05's were at UAL.

I would put $ on top 5 05 boys teams would win 80-90% of games vs top 5 05 girls teams.

Not sure your allowed to do that sir.... however, set it up. I'd be interested.
Now back to the point. Are the TOP 05 boys playing CFBSA? Cause if not, then a top 05 girls team playing there would find better competition in the top girls division, although I guess in this situation they are playing both so it doesn't matter.

IMO it will make the girls better.
