I see 2 through 9 as even and Owen and Goodman too low, put those two around 10...although I haven't seen LA play in ages so I could be wrong...just my .02

FEVER... Catch it. It will be interesting to see which leagues they play in and if they have success. At the end of Spring, season they could be riding high or disbanded again. Ohhh the drama

Relax PickAWinner. Tecate was probably just comparing Owen to other teams they have played against, assuming he is a Spirit parent. Personally, I'd put them about 12-13 based on what I've seen from other teams. Next FBR will probably have them around 15 since it still takes last seasons performance into account. Since November, they've had good results in the 12-20 FBR rankings, and have tied Goodman twice. They have picked up a few players in the off-season and looks to be playing better every day.

Playing Spirit in the finals was a definite wake-up for the team. That's a level they currently aren't at but are striving to get. Getting shelled for 3 quick goals had Owen on their heels Sunday, but they adjusted and played well against a top level Spirit team (someone earlier said they should be #6 instead of #3, not buying it, they had speed and aggressiveness I haven't seen this side of RASE).

IMO, they are one or two decent players from immediately jumping to the next level (top ten), if not, the coach will get them there a little slower over the course of next season. They will also know where they stand after this season, having played against better competition in SDL Saturdays and Sundays.

Where is Spart er.. Barnes playing this season. Heard they are playing Primetime both days?

Is RASE playing this weekend?

Not sure as my DD's not part of the Wolf Den.  However, she previously howled at the moon.  My guess is they will play Primetime both days with several of the other Westside soccer teams.

P.S. Not a knock on LP Owens.  I was just curious.

Owens is definately a team on the move, IMO. They have added a few girls and have a HEADHUNTER for a forward who will ruin your day if you don't shut her down. Played them many times, good Solid team.

Didn't LP Owen lose to LFS White a couple of weeks ago?

I wouldn't call them LFS white. LFS Gray would be more accurate. Yes they beat us in bracket play and we beat them in the finals. LP were also missing one of their ODP midfielders.

Barring all debates of RASE's "superiority" and excluding all derogatory slander and or comparisons...would RASE have more competition from Spirit and DTS than the 03's they are playing? I'm.seriously asking because I glanced at the schedule and I never heard of some of those teams...

Ya think Spirit might finally up one on ole DTS? They have been getting closer to beating them....if Chacon don't shake things up, they'll have another championship match-up to see.
