Things that make you go Hmmmm...

O.K.  Someone was kind enough the send me a copy today of the list of '04 teams that registered for SDL.  So with schedules published for TGPL, PTCL, and PAL, and team lists published for SDL and CFBAL, some interesting observations:

1)  Where's Texas Spirit '04?  Not showing up in any of the above mentioned girls leagues.  Pulling a RASE and going off to play in SDL Boys possibly?  Texas Spirit "Red" is signed up for SDL D2.

2)  Where's Texas Spirit '04 North Red?  Haven't seen them in a pre-season tournament, and now don't see them signed up for any of the major '04 girls' leagues???  Did this team go "poof" and/or merge with the Tx. Spirit Clark squads and I missed it somewhere?  I only see a Texas Spirit North (no color) signed up for SDL D2, and am assuming this is much closer to the old "Gray" team than the "Red" squad.  

3)  No FC Dallas '04 Premier anywhere.  Assuming that Advanced Soccer Academy team showing up on the TGPL Gold schedule with Jesse Diaz listed as coach is pretty much a re-branding of FC Dallas Premier (or is TSN somehow tied into this as well???)

3a) ...oh by the way... 6 months out from QT and no Solar OR FC Dallas team currently in the top 25 in FBR...  

4)  No DT Rosales teams anywhere.  Did these teams finally fall by the wayside as well?

Otherwise, the top 50 are pretty much all accounted for in some incarnation or another...

There is an fc Dallas premier 04 in tgpl...recheck.
And Advanced Soccer Academy isn't on there anymore.

Ahhhh... forgot that the Primetime schedules cache in my browser and didn't hit refresh... that's a change from a couple days ago... I stand corrected on that one!

Ummm... Excuse me there Chief, but I ask the questions on this thread!  

Probably after this weekend. Been waiting for all of the league lists/schedules to get posted so I can figure out who's who after the winter shuffle, er, I mean break...

I was curious about TX Spirit as well, they had a good team last season.

And DT Rosales I heard is going to be playing against boys this season, Is that true? Can anyone confirm?

All of the girls on FCD Pemier have stayed except for one, who left for a reason other than the coaching change.

Pretty much all Premier players stayed with FC Dallas.

You would know more than me if you dd is involved. That was just the word on the street. Glad to hear they stayed
