Just to clarify, I was definitely not calling Odyssey a kickball team. The kickball statement was a generalization, and too much emphasis is on the scoreboard when at this age it doesn't tell but a fraction of the story.

I went to a friends game with the 04 kicks...I finally got to see some of RASE game afterwards playing an FC Dallas team...I saw a kick from young lady I thought would never land...impressed to say the least...we chopped it up with a DTS grandparent for a sec they only had 2 on the bench...maybe they should have borrowed some players from Scott...anyhow RASE is kinda advanced because they countered the boys speed with passing and possession, we left halfway in the first ...what was the final?

Don't know what the score was yesterday. I know they tied dallas rush last week which is a top 3 team.

Odessey manages to get a draw with DT South and that leads us straight into RASE talk, who would have figured that!?!

KNK is just a TSN dad trying to be honest about the game. Nothing wrong with that, and it's a welcome addition to the usual game "color" posts.

KNK is just a TSN dad trying to be honest about the game.  Nothing wrong with that, and it's a welcome addition to the usual game "color" posts.  

You can't be honest on here we all know that.  If you call it as you see it, you will be torched!!! Not saying calling out a particular player, NEVER that. It's hard to watch, from my dd's team to the team she plays against. The lack of keeping possession and working through it instead of kicking it out of bound when the heat is on.. C'Mon!!

Honestly, I did this before.  I watched a top ranked team and I don't recall seeing three completed/connected passes during the game.  Just calling it as I saw it..

Redknapp couldn't score. Missed a PK and a dozen chances.  
A Sting Scarfone parent told me Harr has some of their former players and saw one ex-Rosales player. Not sure about the others. That's all I know about them.

What Jules said......and.....how's this for wild commentary/speculation....why is a team ranked 58th in the most recent rankings (harr) playing sdl1? Clearly the coach feels the team can compete at that level...and maybe they can?! Maybe this is one of those "rising meteor" teams referenced in the human poll post....stay tuned....

Or maybe some of the higher ranked teams aren't as good as they think they are. Things are about to get rolling........already a lot of crazy going on with scores. on any given day anyone can beat about anyone (do not freak out, I said "about" anyone).

Sting Harr is on a meteoric rise, you heard it here first... I hope there's no big boom at the end

This reminds me of when Sting '04 Central Cuevas stated they were ready to run with The "Big Girls" after winning EAL and beating LP Owen. I believe there might have been some second guessing after the season ended in SDL Platinum. Good to see they are doing well though.

Like mentioned in thread - "If QT was this weekend" Sting '04 Harr will have a tough draw first round..

Things aren't black and white anymore. Red knapp tied lfs black and missed a pk for the win and blanked odyssey, all in the last month....yet could not score on Lp raisbeck or sting harr....the games have gotten a lot closer, all around, for many teams.
