'00 NTX Coach Glossary

There has been a proliferation of new topics concerning the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of coaches the past few weeks. Some coach comments have been more opinionated and/or informative than others, IF you have a clue with whom to associate with his or her acronym. Is there a written (or unwritten) rule where it is faux pas to mention a coach's name above a whisper, or does using an acronym signal one is "in the know".
KW, BS, CR, AS, SK, LW, VD, SB, DP, CB,  CP... DQ ... who can keep up with all of it?

Going to need some of the old timers' help to form a '00 Coaches Glossary & Guide so the rest of us know who who the coaches are in this age group.  

Ballhead, BWgophers, Gunners, Back-of-Net, InaB, Pele, Clueless, dadof3, 4-3-3, Noob, Move-your-feet, (etc), your forum brethren calls upon you to list each coach & team in each division of the '00 group. I think we all realize none of these coaches are perfect, without warts, but just having this information in one place should be helpful since we are approaching end of the (or start of another silly) season.

Silly season doesn't start for a few more weeks.

I haven't responded because I don't exactly know how to answer this post...I know I am more interested in finding out:

What coaches try to accomplish? Style of preferred play.
What is their coaching temperament? Manner.
Where are they located?

Maybe we could look at which teams TRY to play a particular style and what their typical characteristics are?? It doesn't mean they always pull it off, but that their GOAL is to try to win games with a particular attack.

Possession at all costs... to ...Not far enough, I can still see it.

We would have to agree to disagree on whether a team plays kickball against us...because of course none of OUR teams play kickball...just everyone else.

Knowing that we all have our moments...Maybe we could rate coaching temperament on the continuum of:

1... to ...10
Pockets of sedatives... to ...Satan is jealous.

I would say that teams that are misplaced above their true level won't be able to do much other than just hang on, but if we look at healthy teams playing other teams approximately at their level, we should see a pretty typical game from them...it might be interesting to see which teams are playing which styles and how a coach coaches his teams, so that you would know which teams might be a candidate if your dd is more suited to a particular style of play or coach and how viable the travel is if you were looking to tryout??
