D3 - Poll of the week

Hey everyone, almost forgot to do this.   

How did the Meja/WFX game turn out yesterday? The race at the top of D3 is pretty intriguing. This could be an interesting topic starter...

Heard: WF-5 meja-3.

Heard meja up 2-0 against wind in 1st half but WF made it 2-1 just before half on free kick. WF player gets red carded in 2nd half but they still manage to put 4 more goals in  against the wind and with 10 players. Impressive. Someone please correct me if inaccurate.

Sucks for the rest of us vying for 1st because this win may have put it out of reach unless something weird happens. (Which it could)

Oh my gosh, and there several matches remaining where the top 5 play each other.

2: FEVER UNITED 00G:  18mp.  39pts
3: STING CENTRAL 00G ROYAL:  17mp.  36pts
4: STING WEST 00 (WEST):  17mp.  35pts
5: MEJA MARTINEZ NORTH:  16 mp.  33pts

With everything so tight, I'm not sure how much commentary and predictions we'll get out of this group. Folks are too nervous to prognosticate.

Has CPP played any role in these standing or are teams going with the horses they rode in on?

I haven't seen anything on CPP...what is that?

In other news...

WFX plays Fever, Gunners, and Solar White...42 pts. Could pull 9 for 51.
The Fever game is the big one, but it honsetly probably won't matter because even if Fever wins, they still play 2 winnable games and would need 4 points in those two to ensure promotion. I like them to promote. I don't see them losing three in a row to end the season...Tie Fever and win the others...49 pts. First place.

Fever plays WFX and Sting C...39 pts. Could pull 6 for 45.
The WFX game looms large, but even with a win, chances are slim. That W if they can get it sets up another game with Sting C which sets up...a lot of finger crossing and hoping...They have work to do to stay in second. I definitely think they can, but those are two tough games to win. If they do, that is a nice springboard into tournaments...43 pts. Third unless Sting C wins and overtakes them or Sting W slips vs. Meja N and they jump to second.

Sting C plays Meja N, FWFC, and Fever...36 pts. Could pull 9 for 45.
Three games against other "like" teams in standings...they would need wins in all and stumbles in other places to take top spot...of course, if they are still in it by the time they play Fever it is REALLY interesting. I think they tie FWFC and Meja N for 2 points...38 pts. and fourth place.

Sting W plays Meja N, Meja G, and Flash...35 pts. Could pull 9...for 44.
Real chance for them to pull 9 points, but even if they do, they have to hope that there are some major upsets. I concede their run of 3 Ws and see them taking 9...44 pts. Any stumble drops them, but I see them in the #2 slot...a bridesmaid for promotion (again).

Meja North plays Sting W, Sting C, and Solar W...33 pts. Could pull 9 for 42, but they could also lose a couple. I see them taking 4 and ending with 37 pts...and fifth place.

Of course, D3 is crazy so none of these predictions hold if we get warm or cold or windy weather, anyone gets hurt, the sun shines, a 13 year old has friend, boy, or grade trouble or is just an inconsistent 13 year old soccer player, or any conflict at all with another activity...lol.
