Pure Owen, very competitive game! Lp Owen has been competing very well against top teams . Sting is a good team Lp Owen has been developing and learning to play consistently against good teams and tonight Lp Owen played well!!!!

Enjoy the win Owen girls, a team to watch out for and definately on the rise.

Well they weren't RASE...they don't kit'up the same as the generic brand LP.

Same team every game, same girls!! Lp Owen was ranked a year ago in top 15 then had roster turnover then after fall season reloaded and trained hard to get back to playing top ten teams! The team has been in every game this spring, so not surprised we finally played strong from start to end of game!!

Helps when you're borrowing a RASE forward every game!

If they are playing with a RASE forward kinda sucks for them. They will have to go into qualifying without her. Now is the time teams should be locking down the rosters as much as possible. Or maybe they are doing it all on their own.

Yep ..... Same LP team all year ..... With (2) #14s and (2) #10s on the field at the same time for the whole game. I mean every U10 academy team gearing up for qualifying does that don't they????

I guess the operate question to ask is did LP Owen roster a girl (or girls) that play for another, higher ranked LP team for league play (and/or tournaments) or is LP Owen roster pure (meaning it will be the team that shows up for qualifying). If the team hasn't rostered any girl from another LP team that play in a different league (Dalglish, RASE, even old Barnes), than their play is impressive and they will be a tough game for almost anyone. If they have rostered girls from other LP teams who haven't played in the same league, then the results aren't truly representative of the team that will show up at qualifying.

Either way, congrats on the win LP Owens and the progress.

we played "b " teams all season and there were several "a" players in every game we played. difficult when you are building confidence in girls and parents but we have been playing "up" all season and will be stronger going into qualifying due to it. will be fun to watch where everyone ends up! rosters are going to change a lot in the next 6-7 weeks. god luck to all.
