Re: ODP Coach Feedback
Best is to know what your strength is and your weakness and go get a good coach who has developed players to the Collegiate D1 teams who actually play though.... and get with a small group of like minded and skilled players and train. cheaper than ODP and more cost effective.
ODP should have one team per age group with 2-3 good coaches who develop them to make the regional team. Instead they have over 120 kids in one age group and a 1:15 ratio and it is just like your club team. or worse then club because the actual coach might be average at best and the head coach of the age group is probably good but they do not work with all 120 kids.... and some of those players in the pool are horrible. Those players need to not be picked so the real deal players can actually be coached up to get to the next level.

They should be evaluating all the players to help them improve and get better to make the regional and then the National. ODP is not the avenue that is getting the players better, it is the clubs and coaches in the clubs good top level coaches and also great skills coaches....it is not ODP that is improving them. There is time better spent lower numbers in small group session with good coaches who have developed top players. not coaches who have a full squad like a team and are not evaluating and giving feedback.
