Does this mean the LA 05 is a stronger team than LA 04? Looks like the 05s tied Chacon (very strong team) and the 04 LA lost to Chacon.

Not exactly a surprise. As i said before go back and look at SRSA scores against the boys, they lost one game 10-0. The top boys always have too much for the girls. I bet y'all's team would get crushed 16-0 plus by the #1 boys team probably in the nation!

So the #1 girls team in the universe got beat by the best boys team in the nation... you've been drinking too much kool-aid.
Our team would lose 100-0, however we'all don't claim to be the best girls team in the universe.

Solar 6 - RASE 0

I'm pretty darn proud of "our" N. Texas 04 GIRLS playing so great against top 04 boys teams. Part of me wants to say that 0 to 6 is pretty darn awesome for a top GIRL's team against an equally top BOY'S team...but another part of me doesn't want to give a "consolation" prize because they are "just" girls, LOL. No, my dd doesn't play for RASE. She's played against them and those girls are awesome athletes and players--I'm glad to see them give it to the boys teams and I hope to see them win against the top boys team Wink

Gloat - I have no idea what you are talking about. I am actually giving props to the RASE team compared to the rest of the 04 girls - might be time to put on the reading glasses. Would you like to explain to me how anything I said about RASE was anything but respectful???? They are as legit as they come and, assuming they stay together which I believe they will, should walk through all D1 teams.

My experience with the RASE girls and parents is that they are all class acts and probably one of the best teams in the country. If I am gloating about any team, it would be RASE.

Why do you think SoccerPapa is an Odyssey parent? If he/she is, I don't know who they are. Given I was the only person who identified myself as an Odyssey in the post, I assumed your post was aimed at me as it addressed Odyssey parent. No worries - all I can say is RASE is legit (having played against a bunch of their girls in 3v3s and knowing the 2 former Odyssey girls who play for them now).

Odyssey final found the back of the net in a few games. Congrats, you guys have always had a solid team. I think Chacon will squeak by by 1 goal today. (2 to 1) Why is Dalglish playing boys silver in this one? Apparently, Not much competition. Probably would have got more out if playing girls or heaven forbid against the boys gold with RASE.
