'04s Surprisingly Calm

A bit surprised at how calm the '04s have been. Outside of a little activity when RASE peeked back in to the girls side, it's been boring, which I suppose is good for the girls sake, but not very interesting as a soap opera which TXSoccer usually is. Granted the boards can still blow up (and probably will) before QT, I thought the '04s would've taken the the most active topic by now from the '03s.

All the older groups are getting more action which has not been the case in the past. Any reason as to why that is?

"Calm" is not the word for it. Trepid is more accurate.
With so much movement, new teams, massive roster changes, etc., nobody wants to talk crap about how their dd's team is better than your dd's team, because the don't know even if their OWN team will make!

Nobody wants to assume that their roster is set yet...they are all waiting for signed contracts before breathing a sigh of relief and getting back to the trash talking. When there are top 10 teams that look like they won't make, it makes everyone nervous.

I am sure on July 2, the topics will be stuff like "OMG - so-and-so didn't make! can you believe that?", and "how did so-and-so get all those stud players?", and "wow...so-and-so lost a lot of talent". Then once we get through the pre-qualifiers and everyone sees who is where....the trash talk begins in earnest again.

So be patient...it will get lively again...very lively.

What #2!! If Primetime would use gotsoccer, we'll be sitting at #1!!!   

Majority of teams from the list are still playing 8v8.  I believe California teams have transitioned to 11v11 this spring.

Also, Win/Loss Rate is calculated based on games won since Sept. (2013).

That's exactly right.  The real world drama is definitely overshadowing the cyber drama right now.   July 1st will be fun.

Well one thing is for sure.....there must be some lying going on because last I checked you can't play for two clubs after July 1   

Given GOs absence I am assuming LW has him locked up until July 1. Not sure why this is still such a big secret at this point - the move (if true    is brilliant.

That would be pretty big. If he took his 03 team with him, the top 3 teams would all be Solar. Pretty impressive.

The only thing I've heard from this side of the fence is that every coach in the age group appears to be looking for 1-3 players and coaches are staying where they're at club wise.
