05 Fall League Play - CFBAL

I love the option of 9v9 and 11v11 for U10 in the Fall.  It will be nice to see the newly revamped rosters and I hope that the top 25 teams will all sign up to play eachother.

I am wondering who all is interested in playing in the CFBAL and what leagues they plan to play in? We are a team in the south that has some work to do, do not want to get slaughtered but want to be competitive.

CFBAL had 4 or 5 levels last year Platinum, Gold, Silver A and Silver B. And maybe more. (Plus had girls playing in Boys division).

I would bet that there are at least 50 '05 teams in the league when the season starts.

Call Nicole James at CFBAL. Have never dealt with her personally, but several on this board absolutely rave about her as a league administrator. I'm betting that she will be a tremendous help and get your team in the right division if you decide on CFBAL.

Are any of the 11v11 platinum teams playing 9v9? The u10 9v9 division has 3 06 teams and one Waco team. We really don't want to play 11v11 but might have to.The 9v9 06 boys division is not filled with many teams either.

The Echo is loud... I feel for SDL, but to be honest they did it to themselves, no GOTSOCCER, scheduling craziness (Releasing 1 week at a time on PDF?), having to pay the refs, etc... now that the loyal 04s have aged out, I worry about their future.
