Competitive Team Registration

I am interested in which home association your team registers with. What are, if any some benefits to register with them? Is it simply based on convienence or are there other reasons?

Well, I can say that back in the day (don't know which day that is), registering with a home association gave teams access to practice fields (for those teams who did not have access to any). Today, that isn't necessarily the way it is. Registration with some associations means you get ID numbers (or not) and a signed roster. For most associations that also means that the roster is posted to got soccer. (that is if the association has a got soccer account). Otherwise, you get a roster and IDs and it is up to you to get the roster into Got Soccer.

If you have your own fields, you can register through Lake Highlands.

If practice fields are not an issue, consider registering with an association that has an office and paid staff that you can find when you need rosters, travel cards, coach id cards, etc.
