TLSC death offical?

Noticed the Sportsngin site no longer exists (The Dallas Cup site links to it), and could not find another. Have they officially folded? Found a 6/30/13 990 filing, but it's not a final return.

Fairly sure its certain. I know the sign on their training site is gone and the property managers were taking bids to lease it out.

Wonder who got the remaining assets. According to the 6/30/13 990 they had $457K. The largest one was a $281K receivable though. I would bet it is a related entity.

Yes TLSC effectively died last year when the very few remaining teams left. The club is a non-profit organization and if it is in fact dissolving, remaining assets, after all liabilities are paid, must be distributed to other non-profits or a tax-exempt purpose as specified in a filing with the IRS and the State of Texas.

Hmm Interesting. Great club back in the days of old (not in recent years of course). Looks like Sting North is using the fields now, per their post last week in 03 Teams Looking

Yes, they were dying when my '97 played there and Bruno Ferretti was the DOC. They had quite a few teams then, and when they fired him, the vast majority left, though that was just the next step down. It seemed like every year after that they would announce a merger with some small club that would be undone in a month or two.
