I was told no applied list or any notifications of any kind until after deadline passes for registration.

I don't understand why tournament directors choose to keep potential teams in the dark about who's already applied - would make more sense to provide transparency so team managers/coaches have a better idea of competitive level to register their team in.  For those of you at PYSA who might be reading this - please see the posts related to CFBAL.  This isn't Wall Street, transparency can actually go a long way in delivering relevant information.

Lets just say Plano Labor Day is one of the biggest around. Just look at the archived records to see that. Last years U9 division was huge.

Can the 06s even come close to the same level of participation?

Kicks Selecao and Kicks JM will both be playing in U9 gold division. Hopefully, Sting Black, Solar Red, Liverpool, Lady Aztecs, Texans register. If the top teams skip Plano I will probably move Selecao to boys division.

Based on the # of teams(posters) participating in this thread, I'd say the answer is a resounding NO!! Evil or Very Mad 
For some reason, doesn't seem like the 06 group can quite get things together like the 05's did. I know the 05 group is deep, but are the 06's really that shallow? silent pale

On girls side they haven't had much problem the past few years with teams. I'd expect this year will be same. Expect a good turnout in all brackets for boys & girls.

Last years u9 girls bracket had 12 in gold and 20 in silver (3 were 06 teams playing up). U10 had 16, 12, 12.

Year before had 8 & 12. U10 had 8 & 14.

I think you will see more than 32 teams in u9 girls this year.

The boys side is where I expect a lighter turnout.8 gold & 16 silver u9 last year, 6 & 10 the year before.

I think that is probably wishful thinking, but I hope you are right. I would put the number closer to 24 total for u9 this year.

If I recall we only played twice our 1st academy season. Seems like a long time ago. So who else has confirmed playing U9?
