This will be a great fall season. I agree, the best lineup of top teams I've ever seen play in one division. I could live without the 06 team being a part of this, but whatever.

Close, but with DTS '05 missing from this group, I'm going to give a slight edge to the '01's U10 SDL D1 from fall of 2011. You had all of the top 8 teams, and arguably 11 of the top 12 teams in that league that fall.

Still... CFBAL U10 Platinum is going to be a GREAT league this fall!

There doesn't even have to be a record of the game ever occuring. I'm sure Nicole can make It happen. And you can keep your precious 11v11 league. What say you?

I for one have no problem with Kicks 06 playing wherever their coach feels they belong. They have a good team, play good soccer and deserve to be challenged.

On DT South, bummer they will miss out, there is always Spring 2015!

I have no dislike for your team at all. I disagree for one reason only. This league should be exclusive to top 05 teams. In the past League directors have refrained from allowing younger teams to play up in the Top league the year before select. Has nothing to do with Kicks and how good they are or whether I like the team or not. Personally I could careless what kicks 06 does. My DD's team has played them and beat them, handily might I add. I think the only one with a grudge is You. I have a right to disagree with kicks being involved in this league. Like I said, it's JMO!!! Furthermore, you should get your facts straight. We played 05 boys and CFBAL Platinum Girls last season, not up in the top 04 League. You can do some further research and you will find that no 05 teams played TGPL's top league last fall or Spring.

If you feel so strongly about Kicks being in the league, there are plenty of other options. JMO

I see no reason to exclude Dallas Kicks 06 Selecao from playing Platinum. They are fast, smart, scrappy, and very skilled, and they have consistently proven they could hold their own against the very best 05 teams. They will make the division and the other teams in it stronger.

I have no problem with them in the Platinum division because they are a really good team.  I just wish they had not succumbed to the pressure of playing 11v11, especially when Coach JM said he didn't want to.

There was no pressure of playing 11v11. In fact, there was more pressure not to play 11v11.  My priority first is to challenge my team. I registered team in a u10 9v9 division but only 3 06 teams and a Waco team had registered.   From talking to a few 05 coaches and chatter on this forum several felt 9v9  was better for development, so I assumed the 05s will do 9v9 in addition to 11v11. If CFBSA had a strong u9 boys division we would have opted for that division.

I think I've been misunderstood here. My point was based on exclusivity of the league only. Not that someone was being denied a spot or kicks 06 isn't good enough. Again I think Kicks 06 is a fantastic bunch and play the game at a very high level. I respect what they are doing over there. Please refrain from twisting my post up to say what you want them to.
