Re: UTD traffic
The car stops. It sits there for 30-40 seconds before the doors even open. Then slowly a kid or two gets out. They keep peering back into the vehicle to find their socks and/or shin guards. Everybody in line has to wait.
Finally a trunk pops open. Kid slowly walks to back to retrieve something, then goes back into car to grab something else. 3 minutes have passed. All seems to be right now. But wait, mom is calling kid around to driver's side for some last minute game instruction.
5 minutes pass, and everything starts to move again, only for a vehicle three cars away to repeat this process.

Re: UTD traffic
Take care when parking on the campus other than in the main soccer field lots (Lot "U"). Although the league has on occasion received approval from UTD police to use the "J" lot (usually when other events are at the same time as league matches), it is supposed to be off limits unless you have a campus parking sticker of the appropriate color. Having said that, every time I have asked a UTD police officer, they have responded with "it's OK to use the green spots in lot J on the weekends". In the end, the ticket and/or tow will be out of your pocket, so YMMV...soccersounder wrote:Still plenty of Green marked spots in the back lot... Me and several other parked there yesterday. In and out.. Easy

I am just happy we don't have to make any illegal u-turns on Campbell any longer. Not that I ever did of course.
