'05 Girls FBR Rankings - 9-30-14

Thank you for updating and going through the statistical analysis of all these 05 Teams. I feel some what crazy for even asking but hear goes:

Can you please take a look at the #42 Team Andromeda 05 Haylock? The team is sitting in 3rd place of the CFBAL SA League and have not lost an SDL Game (game scores below).

I am sure you have a very complicated mathematical method I just wanted to make sure the team has there true numbers reported to you.

I did not have the results from the last 2 SDL games. Thanks for those! Also included in the current history are the results from Plano Labor Day (3 W's, 2 L's). Next week's FBR will reflect the inclusion of the most recent SDL games.

They probably are ranked way to high. Hopefully the missing results will put them where they should be...in the 60s.

Tough crowd. The rankings seem to be settling in now that the season is in full swing.

We all are entitled to our opinions. It's what makes the forum so fun to read. And yes the rankings are definitely appealing to watch and based on some matches I've tracked seem to be in line with the scores.

This is a reality check for everyone who beats themselves up on where their DD team is ranked and lets it antagonize them endlessly week over week. This Top 10 is full of holes….take for example the following (data from gotsoccer):

#4 Rush Voutier
- 4-4-1 since May (1 goal in last 4 games)
- Notable wins: D’Feeters twice & Sting Scarfone twice
- Tied Hanlon 0-0 (laugher but predicted)

#5 Texans Adames
- Only reporting 3 games
- Wins over Andromedia Rundell, NTFC Green, Sting Garrett
- 0-0 tie (ended at half) to Abbott (not reported but previous post)
- Thank god for the scrimmage with Pulp b/c it will be a reality check

#7 FC Dallas Premier
- 6-4-1 since May
- Notable wins: Texans South Red, Sting East Grey twice, Sting Garrett, NTFC Green
- Notable losses: Andromedia Rundell, Fever United, Sting Parsons

#8 Sting Scarfone
- 7-12-4 since May
- Notable wins: D’feeters, Sting Parsons, FC Dallas Tembrenk
- Notable losses: Sting Garrett, Solar Abbott

#10 FC Dallas Premier Blue (not sure if this team is regular premier or Blue as they use the same girls from what I am told)
- 4-1 since May
- Notable wins: Andromedia Rundell, Dallas Texans South Red
- Notable losses: Andromedia Rundell

DT South is a good team but because they have not played anybody in so long it is hard to say where they should be.  Playing Solar Abbott for a full game and then the showdown with Solar Pulp will give us a good idea of where they sit.

The FC Dallas Premier Team(s) have played nobody.  Blue beat Abbott (1-0) but other than that they have played no team that is a true top 10 team.   Neither team (if there really are 2) belongs in the top 13.

Does anyone know if FC Dallas Premier actually does have enough girls to field 2 teams? No one seems to know. Even 2 of the parents I have spoke with on the 'top' team doesn't seem very clear on the matter.

Officially? Who knows. However, I was at a park a few weeks ago where both teams played and 5-6 players from Premier changed jerseys and played for Premier Blue...and not as subs.

But why do that? What do you really get from using players from a sister team? Why not go with what you have?

To win?
Or is it to help your true players understand how to move the ball better?
I know this has been touched on several times, but either way its a good way to stir caca up lol

Agreed but, if I understood correctly, this thread was more about the top 10 rankings and they're ranking is somewhat inflated.
