Cfbal posted the wrong score. It was pulp 1 Diaz 1. Went straight to PK's and pulp won 4-3. Very well played game. The way I saw this game, it was Even across the board.

I agree, thunder: a very evenly-played game.  It was enjoyable to watch, and both teams played with belief and determination.

Pulps girls are very talented team, but is he going to take them select next year? or the will it be the mystery lady? Very rare do you see pulp at any of the games ????

First, thank you for the compliment on our girls, they have worked really hard and Chris has done an amazing job training them to the level they are currently at and we look forward to an amazing future.  To answer your question, yes Chris is taking them select, his wife ("the mystery lady") better know as Stacey Pulpaneck (aka Stacey Blazo) is the assistant coach.  She also has been the assistant coach for his multiple year state cup champ 98 and 00 Elite teams. Oh and she also has a pretty impressive pedigree including the following (and no she didn't tell us any of this, it is amazing what a little google search will find along with the media guide from UNC):
UNC Letter '88-91,
All-ACC selection '90,
All-NCAA College Cup Selection: '90, '91
NCAA College Cup MVP '90
All-ACC Tourney Selection: '90
2nd Team All American: '90
4 Time NCAA National Champion at UNC
2 National Championships while playing at Sting Dallas
 
So Yeah I am confident my daughter and her team are in very good hands...

As a previously called out Solar hater on the site (it's not entirely true), let me be the first to say:

Congrats to Solar for winning the championship game.

Nobody has said that yet. PKs are a real part of game. Go CFBAL!

So is over time, if I'm not mistaken FIFA requires 2 overtime halfs before PK's. Great Game on the field though. Just would have liked to see more on the field from these two Awesome Teams. I'm sure these two teams will play many more games like this in the future. Congrates Solar!!!

Yes, it would have been nice to have had some overtime just like it would have been nice for it to have started on time.  

But it was a well-played game by each team and fun to watch.  Congrats to Solar.
