Silver - My DD team is in this division... Wont "JINX" em lol

Bronze - Bracket A - LP McMan
            Bracket B - Sing  Garrett White
            Bracket C - Sting White Scarfone
            Wild Card - LP Alonso
Final - LP Mcman vs Sting White Scarfone  Winner LP 2-0

Copper... I have no idea

It will be nice to see how FC Dallas Premier and DT Mid Cities do playing Platinum level teams.  My prediction is failure and proof that they shouldn't be in the top 10.

Ouch!

Pulp will blow them out but I bet they hang with rush and Abbott. Not predicting a win, but showing up and being competitive would not equal failure IMO.

Failure was too harsh, I agree.  DT Mid-Cities will definitely compete but I do not think they win a game with that tough schedule.  I am just glad that they are playing top competition. FCD Premier may tie LP Gerrard but will lose to Pulp and Abbott.

Semifinal: DT South - 1 vs Solar Abbott - 0
Semifinal: Solar Pulp - 2 vs Dallas Rush - 0

Final: DT South - 2 vs Solar Pulp - 3

In boys division, I predict Sting Diaz wins their division and Hyypia makes Semifinal but stops there.

Congrats to Rush and D'Feeters on playing a great tournament. Those were some of the most brutal conditions our girls may have experienced in their "careers" Yall deserved it, and should be proud! Pulp and DTS will have to work it out another day.

What a shocker of a tournament! Just goes to show how deep the 05 age group is.

Shocking indeed..don’t think anyone expected RUSH to win this one including me.  Congrats Rush.  Congrats to D’Feeters as well. Great showing and knocked off #1 in Semi.  Abbott appears to be the laugher of the Tournament.  SouthoftheTracks, WisdomTeeth, and TXSoccerMommy what were you thinking but not as bad as Hardly who had them in the final.  9 points highlighted by 0-0 against Molano.

Pulp – just didn’t have it in them.  Two losses now in about a month.  Could trouble be brewing??
Rush – Found a way to get it done.  Appears easy bracket but did beat Texans and D’Feeters when it counted.
Abbott –  Booting gets you no where. Hopefully FBR will finally catch up to them and put them where they deserve. Outside of Top 10.
D’feeters – found a new spark.  Hopefully the sign of things to come.
Molano & FC Dallas Premier – proved they don’t belong in Top 10.  Not a good showing by either team.
Texans South – Still think they are one of best skilled 05 teams.
Gerrard – is just Gerrard as always.
Hanlon – nothing to talk about

Congrates to Sting Black also for winning Boys Silver. They Beat a Very good Fever team in the Finals.

You forgot about Sting Scarfone.  Parking the bus and relying on 1 counterattack each half only seems to work on Hanlon.  That's not Top 10 play either IMO.

I was letting their results speak for themselves. I guess Abbott and Scarfone can play the 6th place match.

Im not sure if it was the weather, but alot of teams didnt play up to their normal standards. Sting Scarfone being one of them.

Either way, good tournament all around.

Unless I'm mistaken all the teams played in the same weather right? That's no excuse.

Forgive me, this might sound a bit naive, but, the weather played a huge role in this tournament (the outcome).

It would seem, SoccerAdvice2Go really don't care much for Abbott. Well, lets look at the facts.

Abbott 2 v Parsons 0
Abbott 3 v Scarfone 0
Abbott 1 v Diaz 3
Abbott 1 v Pulp 0
Abbott 1 v Rush 0
Abbott 0 v Aztecs 0

So, in fact, they finished 4th out of the top 12 teams. Hmm ...Interesting, doesn't seem like a "out of top 10 team". And, more importantly Rush only had 2 wins all season. Finishing in the likes of Gerrard and Scarfone.

And, yes thunderlipz, you're correct, all teams played in the same conditions. It comes down to which girls handle the conditions better. Fact is, some girls don't play well in freezing temps.

I would suggest that if the weather played a huge roll in whether your team won or lost, then your Team is Soft. It's not always going to be Sunny and 72 degrees out.

We're talking about 9 and 10yr old kids right? I don't believe this is the U17 forum. Most kids at this age are "soft", in the sense of being children.

What does age have to do with this? Are you saying its easier to handle extreme weather conditions if your 17 vs 10 years old?

Totally agree. Not to take away from feet and rush, but looking at the regular season results they had no business beating Pulp or DTS. What can you take from this weekend? Given the weather, not much for me. It was all about which team had more girls buying in to the mission at hand.

Im not sure if Id call them soft, maybe not prepared? Either way it was a good showing by all teams.
