I hope you all are watching the NCAA Championships. Lots of North Texas girls still participating and most of the games are streamed.

Pretty darn exciting and if your dd's are aspiring to play in college, worth the effort of locating the games.

Unc who should we be pulling for on SC? Our girls will be in north carolina this week for national league and might have time to make some of their Seattle game Friday...or if they win - round 3 on sunday.

An SC vs UNC matchup would be interesting game to watch. Pretty amazing how quickly the SEC is establishing itself in women's soccer!

Edit...nevermind...only 1 Texan on the roster and she would be very hard not to notice. We watched her game against PW in state finals a few years back....great player!

Hope all is well.  Good Luck to USC going forward.  Enjoyed seeing your daughter play v. TAMU this season.  Hopefully another meeting can occur in a few weeks.  TAMU has possibility of seeing one of the other TEXAN 95s if both TAMU and UT make it through next round in CS this weekend.

Good luck to TAMU as well. Always an interesting game when SC and TAMU meet. Many more coming in the future. I think getting through both UNC and Florida State might be a tough row to hoe. But I can dream.

I would love to see Texas get through Notre Dame. There are actually 3 95 Texans on that team but the GK is out right now.

Thanks for your comments.  Come on out if you get the chance.  The wife and I will be there!

As far as the SEC, we are definitely getting there.  RPI had us as the 3rd ranked conference.  There seems to be more and more North Texas girls committing to the SEC.  I definitely thinks it helps.

You can watch this weekends elite eight live on ESPN3 or live on Watch ESPN app or you can watch through the NCAA Game Center website.

Next weekends college cup will be on ESPNU.

N Texas girls on NCAA tournament teams: Rice, Texas (Full of Texans) , OK St, A&M*, Auburn (Several of Plano West (pair of Solar) girls) , Tech (Sting 95), Ok, Ark, Stanford(Feet)* & SC* ... and those are just the ones I know of off the top of my head ... mostly 94s 95s ... many playing key positions on their teams.

Very respectable showing from N Texas.

The A&M Penn State game was much fun. Was pulling for A&M, one of my dds and I are both Aggie athletes, but was there to watch Penn St niece play so the game was win-win for us. My youngest and I parked directly behind the goal, the seats are very close putting you right in the action, and she hung on every pass, shot and save. Could even see the blood splatter from her nose when the Penn St GK slammed her face into the right post during A&M's first score. I've never seen her (my dd, not the GK) that much into a live soccer game before. Good times.
