What are you grateful for? Empty What are you grateful for?

Post by InaB 19/12/14, 07:49 am

It is so very easy to get lost in a year of living and stress. Sometimes we forget the things we should be grateful for in a sea of busy days.

I am grateful that I woke up this morning. Very Happy I am grateful that my children and grandchildren are here and at least for the moment are healthy. I am thankful for those moments at the end of the day when the house is quiet, the dog is snuggled up and all seems right with the world. I am thankful for my soccer family here.

So what are you grateful for?

Best wishes to all.rendeer

I'm grateful that, so far, only molviji445 and his many friends (or aliases) have hacked txsoccer.net, and not the North Koreans!

I really don't need all of my real world friends, co-workers, and boss, to find out about my secret life on here!!! Suspect affraid Suspect

I am most thankful for FBR's.  Also for good health, family, friends, etc.

I am thankful that after many years of four dds in soccer, I am suddenly down to only one. It's like a new lease on life. Bank account, time ..I feel like a kid again. Thank you CR Clause

In the soccer realm, I am thankful...

...that my kiddos all play for teams that are appropriately competitive for their levels of play...
...that their coaches value them as players (individually and within the team), but also recognize that soccer is NOT the most important thing in life...
...that my kids play as hard as they can, but to recognize that sportsmanship is non-negotiable...
...that my kiddos are engaged in the heath-building, team-developing activity that I loved (and continue to love), but don't play because I love it...
...that this sport has the potential to draw our family together and to offer opportunities to help me teach them lessons (win and lose) that they can carry with them beyond the pitch...
...that I have an outlet here to have a little fun and banter with people who (when I meet them) make me a fan of dds on other teams regardless of their jersey color...

Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year!
