As for grown old, tired and weak... Would you call the titanic a row boat, Moby Dick a minnow, or Godzilla a pet lizard?

I get to work on that, I must admit, I'm little behind on the '00's... Who's got injuries from the HS season? I'm also wondering who got into DIGC.

Ok. Rather than another round of how mad are people about CPP or explaining that an analogy is intended to show how things are alike, I thought I would move us over to the 00 spot and start addressing the topics we seem to be interested in.

First, rabbit-I never disrespected your mama. I always mentioned how shiny her boots are. And I never said she pulled the trigger...just that she had a magic bullet.

I also figured that SG dropped completely out of the poll...what with the GotSoccer rise of several teams while others (including ours) have hibernated...

I have heard of nicks and dings to SG, but nothing that should jeopardize the spring season at this point. I think we are just hoping to emerge from school soccer without any serious injury. Timing and playing together again is the main issue (I am sure everyone feels it) since we have been playing on different teams, different coaches and different positions for a few months now...and playoffs could challenge us for practice time since we have some on teams that could spend time in the post season.

Rabbit asked about DIGC, and I just heard that SG (initially wait listed), was formally extended an invitation to play again. We had a great time last year, and I am happy that we get another go at it. Just like last time around, I wouldn't expect more than "advanced development", but it did provide some great moments and a boost of confidence for our girls to stand toe to toe with very good competition close to home. Hopefully, we can "develop" more this time around-lol.

I'd like to see an "applied list" for President's Cup.

Could use a 12th team. NTFC? Melissa? FCD Red? FCD West? Sting Martin? Meja?

That raises an interesting question. Is InaB using her magic infused cookies, to unduly influence league officials and tournament directors, thereby gaining a competitive advantage and ultimately causing irreparable damage to all of NTX soccer and the U.S. Women's National Team? I think clearly the answer is "YES".

If you see any officials and tournament directors walking around in a haze induced "good vibration" it wasn't me! But you might want to skip my brownies!

I didn't figure anyone would question the brownies, they'd just assume it's was either early symptoms of heat stroke or hypothermia, depending on the season.

But lighting the "lemonade" on fire and serving it with a salted rim always struck me as a bit obvious.
