What a difficult job Nicole has! Thank you again Nicole. As a team manager I receive all of her emails in such a timely manner regarding cancellations and rescheduled games! She is amazing! Some might not realize what all she does but my goodness! She does it!! If everyone knew what goes into all the scheduling and rescheduling that she does would be completely in awe. That lady gets it done!

Yes, in all the years I've worked with her she is top notch.

One question, are we at the point of no return... more rain meaning forget the missed games.

What was meant was she is out of days to reschedule...

The leagues I believe are only contracted the fields for so long, tournament season begins.. Dallas cup for example, dallas girls international... and many others that start appearing in early may-june..

The weather is beyond her control, just like the city run fields. I know she will do the best she can, but there is only so much she can do.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but doesn't select aged leagues have the same issues regarding fields/availability? DD's team has 8 games left to play.

Select leagues, especially LH, are a little different than academy in that they use the season's points to determine relegation/promotion for the next season. Is it possible that they would use games already played to determine league makeup the following year without playing the schedule out.

I would think select leagues would run into the same problems as academy regarding make up games.

05's were able to get 3 games in today thanks to the turf fields at FC Dallas:

PULPANECK - 2 LADY AZTECS - 0
D'FEETERS - 5 DALLAS TEXANS DYNAMO 05 - 0
DIAZ - 0 DALLAS RUSH - 0

If you thought the fields were in bad shape to begin with....just wait till they start being played on every night of the week (with at least 2 games a night).

Mark my words......peeps are going to be screaming come May... "Man those fields are horrible" affraid

It was great to watch a couple of those games yesterday. FC Dallas did us all big favors by putting in the turf fields. Let's hope that the sun projected for the week dries out all of grass fields and the games keep rolling.
