Warriors 08G Coppell,Carrollton-FB,Lewisville,Irving

Warriors F.C. is forming a new '08 girls team. We currently have a good group of girls and are looking for some more. Current team members are from Coppell, Lewisville, Carrollton and Irving. Team will be trained by coach Wendy Flaherty.

Coach Bio:
Coach Wendy began playing soccer at the age of 6 for the Hobart Youth Soccer Association.  She is originally from Northern Indiana and was a starter on the boys varsity soccer team at her high school. Girls soccer was not a high school sport at that time.   Wendy went to college on a full ride soccer scholarship and was named to the all american team in her division.

After her collegiate career she coached boys soccer in Indiana before moving to TX  to pursue a teaching career. Wendy's desire to share her love of the game with the next generation led her to continue coaching  at the middle school and high school level.

Wendy is a former Women's Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Lewisville High School.  She continues to work camps and skills clinics during the off season and is the Warriors 06G Red coach.  Wendy loves helping young players understand the game of soccer and believes having  basic fundamental skill is the key to helping players advance to the next level.
