If this is an issue...she is not a keeper.

All kidding aside GGoat... like Cleansheets, my DD is a keeper. DD has never had a particular problem with that area of her body, so it's not something we've ever had to worry about. I also know that DD's GK training over the years has focused on protecting the body while making saves (i.e. "hedge-hogging"). Have never seen nor heard of a jersey or particular piece of protective gear for GK's to protect the chest/torso, but am by no means an expert in that area. Our focus has been on protecting head, elbows, fingers, hips, knees, shins, and there's gear out there for those. I would imagine that anything to protect that area of the body would have to be soft and pliable (i.e. rigid plastic may be considered a safety issue). Good luck in finding what you are looking for.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if this is a common occurrence something isn't quite right. Collisions will occur without a doubt, but if you are seriously looking for rib and sternum protection there is more to this story.

Pretty sure no such forum exists for that...
...and if one did, I don't think I'd want to spend much time on there...

I think you can find that forum on the dark web. But you have to use Tor to get there.bwgophers wrote:Cleansheets wrote:Oh this is not the proper forum for your area of expertise.

O.K. Mrs. Gophers (who is far more helpful that I usually am), just informed me that Dick's carries an Under Armour product that is designed primarily for baseball/softball pitchers that has padding built into the chest area (basically to protect from impact of hard line drives hit back through the box). You may want to check that out.

Mrs. Gophers would tell you that Adidas makes a really good line of padded sliding shorts (keeper DD uses them religiously and they help protect against bruising on her hips BIG TIME).
Mr. Gophers would tell you that universities are starting to offer scholly's for competitive gaming...
