Liberty FC is excited to announce that   Coach Fleur Benatar  will be the head coach of the 99 girls select team. Fleur is a National “A” licensed coach with over 15 years of combined club and collegiate coaching in the North Texas area.  Fleur currently coaches NTX ODP state teams and serves on the Region III Staff, in addition to coaching at the US Soccer Market Training Center. Liberty FC is about providing a truly different kind of team that develops the mind, body, and spirit of each player. We we are now looking for solid players to add to this team that are competitive, eager to achieve soccer success, and have aspirations of playing in college.

In addition, former Head Coach Kourtney Fontenault will continue to be a part of the team as the Assistant Coach.  Coach Fleur and Coach Kourtney together have a passion  to see their players succeed in achieving their short-term goals for growth on the field and their long term goals for college development. This includes players becoming the people that they want to become at a personal and spiritual level. Coach Kourtney will oversee the spiritual and personal development of the players by meeting with the team for weekly sessions during practices in addition to meeting with players individually during the week for personal discipleship and growth. We feel that we have found a perfect blend for the development of our players and any aspirations they might have. We can't wait to see what a new recruiting season and another summer of training for the new year will bring!

Liberty FC 99 Girls has accepted to play for Meja Soccer Club under the name of Meja 99G Premier by accepting the 99G LAKE HIGHLANDS BYE.  Our team will be listed as Meja 99G Premier (formally Liberty FC 99).   The founder’s hearts and minds of Liberty FC and Meja Soccer Club are extremely similar.

#1. We are looking for players that are committed to development of the entire soccer player.
#2  We are seeking players committed to being a competitive athlete and great teammate.
#3  We are committed to educating players and families on the college process and preparation.

Sorry, Plano Parks and Rec Closed down the Carpenter Field. We are very disappointed. It was barely raining also.

In just a few short years, from the bottom of D3 Plano Premire to the top of D1 with a championship-Now we are in LHGCL with a BYE.  We are truly Different.  A few spots left.  Don't play part time in D1 with 22 players, play full time and be one of the leaders that recruiters notice on the field. Be trained in how you should go.  Be trained by a college head coach.  See above blogs.

When was the last time your select team coach taught the correct and safe way to head the ball in practice. Our coach teaches the 4 pillars of the game, technical, tactical, physical, and psychological qualities.  She is a master mechanic that has all the tools to teach you all you need to play college ball. She has been there and done that.  She loves the game and is looking for another 2-3 players that really want the training to insure success for the college game.  If you desire to play in college and have played in D1 and D2 and want to finish out your last 2-3 years with a different kind of experience and coaching, come to one of our open practices and test it.  Coach Fleur loves to place good players at the right college team.  We are committed to helping you in that process.

Update on Liberty FC/Meja Premier 99.
We offered rosters spots to 16 awesome young ladies and all accepted. We have our top women coaches in North Texas, and we have a Bye in LHGCL D2 and a great roster. We are willing to increase our roster by at least one more spot. So if you are a D1 or D2 player still looking for a unique situation, and can play defense, or mid-field or forward please private message this post.
