Congrats to both of North Texas' representatives at Southern Regionals. Both made it through bracket play only to find themselves facing each other in the quarter finals.
Sting Parker tied SSC 99 Freedom from South Carolina and then ran 2 W's against Sunrise Sting Black from Florida and Vestavia Attack Black from Alabama
Solar Chelsea Elite '00 had victories against MSC U15 Laker Elite from Louisiana and TSCH 00 from Oklahoma. Their loss was to Top Hat 18 Gold who is currently ranked #1 in the US on Got Soccer and their National Pool forward.
Good luck to both squads.

Pulp beat Parker today 1-0. Has FC Alliance from Tenn up next, expect Pulp to get a rematch vs TopHat on Thursday.

I think it was in PKs. Tough to have to play conference team that you've seen 3-4 times this year and tough to lose in PKs in Regionals (or happy if u r pulp).
Yep. I think Pulp will see TopHat in finals if they get past TN. TopHat is already qualified for Nationals so assuming TopHat reaches finals, both finalists advance to Nationals.

Well, Solar Elite came out ahead in the semi-finals against Tennessee 6-3. They will face Tophat tomorrow morning. Congratulations Solar. Best of luck.

Congrats to Solar Pulp, good luck in Tulsa!!! If anyone offers a round at Southern Hills - take it with no questions asked.
I remember way back when (academy days), folks (in other age groups) said that this age group was not deep and not very good. Well, this age group has sent 3 teams to the USYSA National Event each yr:
U13 - Pulp
U14 -Sting Flanny (RIP)
U15 - Pulp
Pretty good in my book

Great Showing Solar Elite. Even though you lost in the finals 2-1, you made a great showing for North Texas in Regionals!!!
