Wish they all had an accepted team list. Where are all the 06s going?

No problem.

Of the three, we will definitely NOT play Andromeda. Nothing against their club, but I can't get our parents to pay that much money for mini-games. I hear RH gets paid around $40 per team as a tournament director. He doesn't honor schedule requests of any kind. When our coach brings more than one team, the schedule NEVER works out in his favor. Also, I think RH draws names out of a hat when he seeds the academy divisions. Plano Labor Day is the only RH tournament we ever play.

C'mon U90C, please give us a quality alternative to Plano Labor Day.

You might want to confirm the "trophies" for Ayses tournament.

The past 2 tournaments have awarded team trophies, but medals for the girls.  And the medals did not differentiate from first or second (both teams received the same medal).

As my dd noted - "all the that work and all we got was a medal that is exactly the same as the second place team".

Website says "trophies". We'll see. Team list finally posted.

3 tournaments with them, 3 medals...no date, no difference between places. They've ordered 1000 in a box and hand them out each time. The "trophy" goes to the coach.

Post by Andromeda FC Events 20/07/15, 11:56 am

Andromeda is working hard to introduce fun, competitive tournaments in the Dallas market. If you attended the Soccer Madness 4v4 last year or our Soccer Mania 3v3 in December you already know the quality of the events we host. Obviously this is a new event, but we assure you it will not only be competitive but fun as well. Powerade is awarding a single player from this tournament with a $5K scholarship... they are still working on the details of that, which will be announced this week.

We are honoring a $50 per team discount for this event for teams that heard about it through this forum.

Will these tournaments also give out juice boxes and cupcakes afterwards?  If so, then I'm in, because medals taste awful!!!! Razz

For as much as you are charging, each player should get a case.

Yes, in U11-U19 with $50 forum discount you are $15 more than AYSES. In in U8-U10, even with forum discount, you are $50-$70 more than AYSES. For US Club teams, tack on $50 more.

Not being hateful, just stating the facts. You are most expensive tournament that weekend.

Also, why did you take down your applied teams list?
