Where's the direction from LHGCL? Empty Where's the direction from LHGCL?

Let me preface this comment by stating it's understood that qualifying is going on the next two weekends.  It's obvious that NTSSA is not going to lead by example, and by now, most everyone is aware of the changes that boys Classic League is putting into place come Fall 2016.  Where is the directive from LHGCL?  Lake Highlands can put all this conjecture to rest by simply sending out a notification of their intentions.  As of today, only fifteen '06 teams have registered for UAL fall league play.  Why?  Because the coaches and managers have not been told with certainty what to plan for.  With Lake Highlands being the premier girls soccer league for North Texas, they need to provide guidance in an expedited manner!

Email to the coaches in boys Classic League:
Subject: Classic League Meeting information
All,

I hope your summer is going well.  I trust that your teams are taking shape and looking forward to the coming season.

From the most recent Classic League meeting I have a few items to pass along.  Specifically, the new mandates from USSF regarding age groups and the number of players involved.

u11/u12 ages will play 9v9
u9/u10  ages will play 7v7
u6/u8 ages will play 4v4

Classic League plans to implement these rules beginning in Fall 2016

As per mandate, age group divisions will move to calendar year on January 1, 2017.  Read this as 07s will be the first group impacted by the adjustment.  Prior to that date, players will still be grouped under the current guidelines (which coincide more with school classification than calendar).  Hopefully, this advance notice will allow you to make adjustments to Juniors teams as seamlessly as possible.

All players/teams that enter the Classic League under current guidelines will be "grandfathered".  Example...a u11 team entering Classic League Fall 2015 will play 11v11 in Fall 2016 as a u12 team (despite the fact that the new guidelines will take effect at that point).

They are in it for one thing and that is to make money!

Quite libelous given that the directors are volunteers and the organization is a non-profit. If you feel that wrong decisions are made and object to the direction taken, that is fair game. I am sure there are lots of people that care nothing about the product taking unpaid volunteer positions and giving up lots of their personal time... not.

So it is your belief that those volunteers are being paid for their time?  I can't begin to tell you how wrong you are.

I believe LHGCL employs one person, with the vast majority of the duties being performed by unpaid volunteers.

I'm not sure I understand the connection with LHGCL needing to make a statement so that 06s will sign ups for UAL. I've missed things before so please help me out here.

By the way, the 05s always led the way in getting CFBAL (and then UAL) participation to new heights. You can't argue with that. With them all moving on, there will be some effects. Just my most humble of opinions.

I stand corrected, i could not give the time so therefore I apologize to those volunteers. My frustrations come from years of watching just some poor soccer being played in my eyes. This could be the fault in multiple areas.
