Re: LHQT Points?
If you're asking about Got Soccer rankings, I think the answer is "yes" just like in any other tourney.

Re: LHQT Points?
I went back to a couple teams from last year that played in round 2 and dont see the points listed, though they do have the games.
since it is still within the last 12 mos., not sure why we wouldnt see the points.

If you beat someone ranked in front of you, you'll credit for it, if you lose to or tie with someone ranked behind you, your ranking will drop accordingly. GotSoccer will occasionally award someone thousands of pts for beating very, very weak teams. By thousands I mean 3000, 4000, 5000 pts for beating teams that don't even have a thousand pts. GotSoccer is pretty much a piece of junk. This one's better

I completely agree...especially as your dd gets older, this one is better...and to find relative strength of teams across state lines it is FAR superior.

Just looked up the rule and it's as follows:
NOTE: The spirit of this rule will be followed. Coaches found guilty of intentional manipulation of this rule for purposes of retaining their Bye will be dealt with severely, up to and including suspension from LHGCL for no less than 1 year.
j) NO GUEST PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED. Any players that are deleted between the Qualifying Tournament and the first game of the season will be investigated to insure that the player was not playing with the team as a guest player simply to enhance the team’s possibilities of qualifying for the league. Violations of this rule will result in the team being disqualified from participation in the LHGCL for that soccer year. A report of such activities will be submitted to the North Texas Soccer Youth Commissioner for further action.
Teams doing this should be DQed, if LH is going to follow their own rules. Doubtful this will happen, seem to turn a blind eye to these sorts of infractions

So, just to throw a hypothetical out there... Let's say that the '03 officially signed with the '02 team and is on the '02 teams' official NTSSA roster, plays with the team in the QT and they get in to LHGCL. Then once the season starts, the '03 player remains on the '02 roster, but is CPP'd back to her '03 team for every game during the fall season (totally legal per LHGCL rules). Then, during the Dec.-Jan. window after the fall season, the '03 is officially transferred back to the '03 NTSSA roster (also totally leagal per LHGCL rules).
Can and/or Will LHGCL sanction the club/'02 coach/'02 team for violating the "spirit" of the "No Guest Players in QT" rule if the club/coach/team used other LHGCL rules to help them violate the "spirit" of the first rule???

I'm guessing that's a rhetorical question BW because I think we know the answer to that.bwgophers wrote:Crazy4soccer wrote:Adrenalinetx wrote:Well I know a few teams with player from 03 teams that soon after will go back to there 03 teams
