FBR 06G Fall 2015

I am going through the team names and adding new teams in FBR today.  I am updating names of teams that changed clubs after getting the UAL divisions off the schedule today and recent tournament info.   I will continue to do this after the other schedules are released.  I will be publishing the next FBR after all the August tournaments are over.

The LFCA Fowler squad is going to be a new team. The 06 born players are splitting off from the 07 Fowler team to prepare for the age pure coming down next fall.

So if it will not have any players born in 05 on it do you want to put AP by it to note that it is an age pure 06 team?

Who will be verifying compliance at every match?

And where are the calendar 05s going since they can't play select?

Any other team is still as it is. Assumed all the teams have aug to dec 05s on them.

Seems unnecessary to categorize as age pure at this point. The school year age is still the accepted norm at this point in time, so it just is what it is....until it isn't.

Believe me we didn't want to do this.. With the age pure coming down the line it was a necessary task. Im really bummed to have to break up the 07 Fowler squad. North Texas has decided it as to be so it is what it is. In the mean time We are looking for 06 and 07 year born girls for the two teams. fun times

For FBR I will just use whatever a coach names their team in got soccer. If they put AP by it I will use that. Sure I don't think that will be something that can be policed. Just as no one can control that a team uses 3-4 guest players from a top team to win a game and increase their rankings.

FBRs success will be different this year in the fact I don't think it will be as valid as before in predicting LH qualifiers. Why? Well if they do take birth year 05 as U11 as the chart says this year and if they don't allow the current Jan 06 to July 06 players to go select that changes the validity. If they do allow them to go select but a club/team decides to realign and have Jan to July 05s stay behind and play on their birth year team well that would definitely change things to.

So for FBR I will just include teams as they are named. I will do my best to work under the circumstances of change we are given. After this year I think FBR will go more smoothly once again. I will work together with FBR 07 through that transition. My child is birth year 06 so I will continue to do FBR next year for 06 birth year. That is IF it all plays out the way it appears it will.

If at any point this year I am able to produce two FBRs ( one under current age and one AP 06) I will gladly do that as well.

Knowing what we face the year leading up to select, I can only imagine what AP will do to team destruction and creation. I am curious when parents will make the switch and which clubs will benefit the most (majors or small clubs). I expect the "new" and "renamed" team list in Spring will be 2 or 3 times the current list.

Good luck FBR tracking all the changes this year.

Where is this "chart" for the age changes you are referencing ? I have been searching the net unsuccessfully to find anything for this plan. Can you point us in the right direction?

not made public, but is out there...

just look at it this way.

any child born between january and july will be repeating their CURRENT soccer year next fall... unless they opt to move up an age group.

As I am entering scores from UAL this weekend I ran across another new team

FCD Silver.   UAL Sat Silver B.     No coach listed.  

I am about to enter new teams in now that Primetime and Arlington have released schedules.  I will keep you posted.    Just a reminder new teams will not show up until they have 3 games in during the FBR time period.    

If you are playing in SDL this season and want your scores included in FBR please PM the scores since they are not posted by that league.

In TPGL Silver bracket, it's Fever United 06 Stephen. The league just listed that team incorrectly. And, they are confirmed to play TPGL Silver.

That is the old FCD 06 Ciro squad... not the Premier squad.

As I am entering scores from this past weekend I noticed the following team took the place of another team in UAL Silver B Sunday

Kicks 06 coached by Perette------when you click on the got soccer account it shows Kicks 07 record.   Not sure if this a move to an AP team or not but this team will be listed as Kicks 06 -Perette in FBR. If this is not correct please let me know so I can make it right.
