The need for a ranking system is really questionable, but you seem to think differently. So, once you take it on, at least do it like Gophers did it for years. Honestly. Don't manipulate it like the first 06 guy and the current 07 guy do.

Hey ya'all this has been in the works since January. Have been collecting data and getting guidance from BW Gophers. His advice was it's a little too soon to put it out there. If you guys think you're ready to see it, it can be posted anytime.

The real question is it age pure 08 FBR? Maybe you need two of them or asterisks or maybe just not do it......

I guess i would ask why it is too soon? not enough data? or feelings being hurt?

They are still learning basic motor skills, such as walking.

Also because it is meaningless with Age pure change coming..so why bother?

That said I would love to see the debate on the FBRs regarding our team should be ranked higher because they are more age pure or they are really 07s....just another wrinkle to the FBR debate

All teams registered as 08s will be tracked.  If registering an age pure team please consider registering like this:

If a coach has two teams both can be included as long as each are individually recognizable.  

Data for this age group goes back to January with lot's of movement in the last couple months.  Planning to wait until week 3 of the fall season to post rankings.  There may be some teams that are no longer around that can be excluded and deleted once their games drop off as well.

Most of our girls (11/15) are 06's on the 07 team. I guess it would be similar for the other academy teams, right?

I am not sure if that question is direct to me Planogirl, but if you are talking about our 07 SRSA team then those numbers don't reflect our team.  About 65% of our roster is age pure 06.  I suspect most 07 teams age pure 06 percentage is higher than ours, but I have no way of knowing.

people are trying to make this too difficult...all the older ages FBR aren't age pure...its simply the teams that play at the level the FBR is for.. I dont know all the teams out there in the 08 division, i was just curious as to where my dd team ranked with the other teams she plays against..i dont care if they are 07 heavy or not..if they can go to school together then should be able to play together...

Thanks Bigtex, we are about 11/15=73%, You have about two thirds are 06s. I guess you just have one less 06 girl than us.

So "about two thirds of 07 teams are actually pure 06s" which may be the norm for most academy teams.

Well yes and no, we have not actually split up what amounts to our two 07 teams at this point since we are newly formed so we actually have 8 pure 07s.

Dang! Our 07 team only has 3/14 (21%) age pure 06s. I guess we are behind the eight ball.
